Resort molto bello.

Gem allows the privacy of being in a private island. This could be further enhance by having a more up to date setting of a restaurant. Staffs are friendly and warmth.

A place you can have peace of mind. Nice hotel close to the beach, corals, dive sites. Not far to kayak to Bukit Singa for hiking and awesome view

A quiet and small island which suitable for people who likes some peaceful time. Compared to the Pulau Kapas nearby which is more crowded, this small island allowed us to enjoy our time without much disturbance. Price of food is not cheap for ala carte meal set. We ordered some dishes with rice to share among family members. Taste is ok though not very fantastic. It would be better if the price of accommodation is cheaper since no other facilities around for longer stay.

The highlight was watching colourful tropical fish at high tide from our balcony. Food at the restaurant was expensive for Malaysian standard but compensated by prompt service, quality and portions. Could do with another waiter/ress. It is unusual to see all staff are male.We wonder why. The beach is clean and water crystal clear. Could do with more information about what beach amenities are complimentary. Bookings at the resort was minimum when we were there so cannot comment on what it will be like when busy. We experienced solitude and absolute relaxing time regardless.Would certainly return again.

I can see the reef around me without scuba equipment. You can touch the fish with your hand and enjoy the island rhythm.

The ambiance was great. The place has a nice rustic feel in it, and the villas are all built on top of the rocks so you can really hear the waves at night. Food was great, and priced reasonably. I would therefore recommend this place to anyone who just want to escape from the bustling city life, and just get in touch with nature.

Very nice place, but in need of maintenance. The place is still comfortable but would be a lot nicer with more maintenance. The staff is super and the chef at the restaurant awesome! I will return considering the price range per night around 70-80 euros which is what we paid.

The location is incredible. When staying in a water villa, you will be facing 2 white sand beaches. You just need to rent a kayak at the hotel, go on that beach and do some snorkeling there to see dozens of clowns fishes, small sharks and so on. Now talking about the hotel, it’s a but disappointing, it could be amazing but I’m not sure they know what “service” means and it seems there is no manager there. We wanted to rent a kayak after lunch but there was no staff so I just filled in the paper by myself and we took one. When returning it 2 hours later, the guy was half sleeping, and did not bother to come and help us. This is just an example of the kind of service you will get. The restaurant is great, though, and the staff is really nice. So I have mixed feelings about this place. The island is awesome but how they manage the hotel is a bit of a waste.

- Room was very dusty and when you step in, you can feel the dust on your feet. - Room also has a certain dated smell. - Island surrounding is great, peaceful and private caving sites you can hangout at. - Nothing unique about the Island and as no Turtle seen at conservation pit. - Dinner at the restaurant is great! The food is 5/5.
