I would say disregard those few lower rated reviews that are likely exceptions to the norm, as we had an amazing experience at the resort. All staff were truly friendly, the nice front office gesture of standing up and greeting us every time we passed the lobby, the exceptional experience at their only restaurant (tasty nicely plated servings well worth the menu prices, lamb shank scored for me and i did compliment the friendly chef who walked round, the gorgeous main swimming pool, the amazing landscaping over the estate which hosts 100 bird species, flora and fauna, and so on. You have to experience mangala, we highly recommend it and highly recommend it. We will be back. Thank you to the owner, management and staff for the beautiful resort and wonderful experience. Landscape, maintenance and services were excellent. Please continue to uphold this level of professionalism and show how world class resort standards can be found in this Gambang gem.

A very peaceful and quiet resort hidden surrounded by nature and estates. Service is good. The room condition is good. The only thing that smells of bed linen is a bit of a smell which is not my usual. A good place for simple joy, relaxation and healing. Will i return? Yes.

The resort is relaxing and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay at amani pool villa. The service provided by the entire resort staff, including the buggy ride drivers, lobby staff, room service, cafe staff, chef, and spa therapist, was excellent.

What a wonderful stay at Mandala Resort and Spa. The best eco-focused hotel I have ever seen is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. There is swimming, hiking, kayaking, archery, and cycling at your disposal without leaving the property. And the lakeside restaurant is fantastic with both regional and international cuisines. It's one of my new favorite places to visit. You can read the fascinating tale about how they transformed barren land into tropical jungle with a stunning hotel.

I will definitely return a few more times if i have the chance to return! I have stayed at one of mangas finest resorts! The property is spacious, tidy, and lovely. All departments provide firstrate service. The villas have excellent amenities, and the management is quite kind. You receive free soft drinks and bathroom supplies of high quality.

The pool is private and nice. The rooms are all quiet big. The indoor spa is also great. The food is great. We asked for vegetarian food and chef selvam prepared special food for us and served. Enjoyed our 3 days there. In the morning we could see all the birds and even saw hornbills.
