The location of the hotel is excellent. Centrally located, within walking distance to all its mustsee areas. Quite near to the shopping and retail establishments in the heritage district. In not 2018, we stayed in a suite upstairs for four nights. The rooms size was large and had lofty ceilings, making them seem larger and more fair. The bathroom was a little tiny, and the bedroom doors were sliding, which was unfavorable because they frequently slid. The front desk and personnel were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They offered invaluable information on where to go, where to eat, etc. The boutique hotel itself is beautiful, with a tiny courtyard and was truly beautiful. The room was also tastefully furnished. The only drawback was that when we arrived in the morning and returned in the afternoon, our air conditioning wouldnt function properly, and that it had still not been repaired, but as soon as we raised it that afternoon, the team went straight and fixed it.

The room was exactly as described in the photos. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable and clean, and the air conditioner was nice and cold. Initially there was an issue with the AC, but the hotel fixed it quickly on the same day, which I really appreciated. The location is also great, very close to tourist attractions, especially KOMTAR and Armenian Street. Cons: there is no elevator, only stairs. The hotel is located right next to a mosque, so the call to prayer can be quite loud. Also, one out of the three receptionists was not very friendly. When you arrive, there is an additional fee of around RM15 for the heritage hotel fee and tax.

I will return to this gorgeous hidden gem in Georgetown as I am writing this. There are so many excellent things to say about this amazing find in the georgetown heritage area! First, the location itself to tourist attractions is a main reason why you should stay here. Nearly all major attractions can be reached on foot, and there are bicycle rentals nearby if you want to ride around without stopping. Theres also a tastefully decorated interior with Moorish accents. The living spaces are simply a joy to sit around with a good book while taking in the atmosphere. While at the hotel, youll have to remove your shoes and put in the cubby. This makes the area much cleaner and is a good practice because of the recent influenza. The rooms are named after spices, and I remained in clove when I was here. The room appears spacious and airy, and the lattice windows add so much character. It really reminded me of the historic, prewar shophouses I have in my hometown in suntan. The facilities are adequate, and the shower was great after a long day of walking. The bed is very comfortable, with two different pillows provided to suit your preferences. Service is attentive but not intrusive our room was made, and the water replenished while we went exploring.

I am frequent traveler, and I have never had a horrible experience, such as the second visit at the opening of the spices hotel. I reserved a deluxe room, which is clearly not the smallest they have because the room space is meter, but still larger than the superior room, which is meter. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room called mint room, which is totally in another building than the main hotel building I used to reside in, and guess what? When I checked my measurements, the room was only 3 meters wide and less than 4 meters in length, including the bathroom. There was no city view, as they stated in the description, but instead, it was a narrow concrete wall outside the window, complete with an ac outdoor unit. And as I checked the comparison, I found that all the pictures that were shared for deluxe rooms or even for superior rooms are identical to mys. I must rest for a good nights sleep. But, the absence of soundproofing really got the worst part of my experience. There was no housekeeping service at all throughout my threenight stay. Every day starting at three in the morning, we could hear people talking loudly until midnight and when the restaurant closed, the noise of its workers cleaning up and brushing all the utensils starting at six in the report. We ended up using the same towels throughout our stay because, as I had previously

This place is in a very strategic and quiet place in Georgetown, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It's a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. This place looks very beautiful and vintage. Reasonable price and friendly staff. Parking is also available outside and not congested.
