This hotel doesn't provide parking spaces for guests, which is a plus. The room has an unpleasant air odor. The toilet light is insufficiently bright to create a haunting atmosphere. The table and television are the first thing I notice as soon as I enter the room. The room is dirty. During nighttime, I turn on the bathroom light as I don't like a supercar room. However, at midnight, the toilet light starts to flicker. In the meantime, I take a shower with the window open because the light is still flickering. But I won't think about returning here.

Overall, the experience I had while staying at the Garden Inn was fine. Due to the rooms being full on the first night, I was given a double-occupancy room. The room was spotless. There were movie-streaming channels. The bed and bathroom were both tidy and adequate. Wifi connection was very fast. However, after I requested a single-occupancy room on the second day, I was assigned a room on the first floor, which I later regretted. The room had a stale air, was dusty, the bathroom was filthy, and there were cigarette butts behind the desk and numerous ashes scattered on the carpet. Maybe the housekeeping crew was on vacation that day? Or perhaps it was a dangerous day. Anyway, as it was a health hazard, I checked out immediately. Following all, it's just an Rm 10 price difference in the single-occupancy room.

My room was about average in size, with an adjoining balcony overlooking the main gate. The room amenities are what you would anticipate from an inn at this price level. Parking is very limited. The Biting Megamall is just behind the inn and within 2 minutes of walking distance. Since I spent more time outside of my room, this option was appropriate for a short trip around the city.

Service was excellent. The happily staff showed me several rooms and were willing to lend me an umbrella on my way out when it was drizzling. The rooms at the front of the building face a beautiful flower garden. The rooms behind the building face the slick mega mall and the irons are placed there. To avoid hearing morning prayers, I selected rm 68 in a single room with no window, and I didn't hear anything. The bathroom has a rain shower. The bed was comfy, and the linens were of hotel grade. The hotel fee includes free wifi. There are no meals available, but there is a local cafe next to the inn where you can get breakfast, and there are other small eateries and the slick mega mall right behind. The imperial mall shopping complex is a minute walk away.

With the price i paid, I half expected it was going to be the most basic room condition but it would have been better if the bedsheets for the twin beds were washed. We kept sneezing due to the dust.

Limited parking space but once you're in, you need not to worry about your car as it is safe within the inn area. It is a very convenient hotel. There's a restaurant located next to it & we only need to walk few steps forward to reach Bintang Mall. For a long stay, you may need to remind any of the hotel staffs when the housekeeping service worker forgot to put the drinking water bottles on the dressing table. Will highly recommend to those who could stand with simple life & simple food, prefer quieter surroundings and prefer to go back late to the hotel without worrying about own safety as the mall is just a couple of hundred metres from the inn location.
