I was always able to find some delicious meals around the islands and it was simple to arrange surf transfers, covid tests, and other things. Firushan attended to all my requirements and was constantly available to provide me with excellent service and a welcoming stay.

We rented the 3 bedroom villa for a few days, it was very new and very clean. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. They provided supper and breakfast service, with both traditional maldivian food and pancakes, both options were delicious. Farushan, the owner, was really helpful in organizing our trip, meeting us at the airport on arrival, and communicating quickly all the time. When we arrived (30 minutes by fast boat) he provided us with free bikes for the entire stay and taking rooster for an orientation tour of the small island so we didnt get lost. Its only about 2 km from one side of this island to the other, so its almost impossible to get caught here anyway. Surfing, snorkeling and picnic lunch at arakiri surf retreat were all great. We did reeked reef snorkel which was not on the menu but the proprietor was just too happy to accommodate our request. Costs between that and 2 other reef diving spots complete with boats following us every and every spot and the strand bank excursion also cost merely $200 usd, which is compared to similar trips we did when staying at flash resorts nearby. And heres the real benefit. For lunch, we had the whole grit bar to ourselves. Even if you are also staying like we are, staying in overwater bungalows for most of your trip I highly

The location is in the middle of the island without a beach view, but we spent all day on the beautiful beaches on this island or on excursions like diving, snorkeling, surfing, or my favorite - lunch on secluded strand bar in center of maldives. Great value because it is right in front of an island with no beach views, however, we spend all our daylight hours either at the stunning beaches and on trips like dives, coral reefs etc.

My time at akiri was truly unforgettable. I had an amazing time! The rooms are impeccably clean and wellequipped, providing ample amenities. The location is excellent, being only ten minutes walk away from everything. Breakfast and dinner were consistently delicious and freshly prepared, adding to the overall experience. I had the best time here! I dont even know where to begin. The rooms are clean, with small balconies, good air conditioning, cold drinking water always available for you, and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are freshly prepared and you enjoy it with other guests, sometimes the staff and all their cute cats. It felt like having dinner with your family. But the nicest part is the employees themselves! After staying in hundreds of hotels and guesthouses over the last few years, this one was one of the greatest, which is definitely due to the personnel. They are extremely caring and helping you with everything. Everything is so easy and carefree from tours, boat transfers, or laundry. You can trust them to make sure you have a wonderful time at this place. Thank you so much for everything, i hope ive got back in ten years!.

We had an amazing time at akiri surf retreat. Firushan and his entire crew are outstanding. Weve been here for two weeks to surf, and they have made our vacation just as exciting as we want! The breakfast is excellent, the rooms are lovely and immaculate, plus we hope to return soon!.

We spent two weeks at the akiri surf retreat in august 2021 and had savored our time with firushan and his crew! If you enjoy meeting other surfers while still learning about the maldivian culture and cuisine, this is unquestionably the place for you. After an early morning session at cokes, the pancakes were the best theyve ever had. Firu will provide valuable advice on when and where to go surfing, as well as assist you with any additional activities you might want to engage in, such as snorkeling, diving, windsurfing or kitesurf fishing. There was also fantastic dinner there! Even better than at local restaurants. Thank you so much, firusan, Samah, Masi, and jape! Ill definitely be back!.

I had an amazing time at this hostel! The staff here were the best, i loved the kindness and attention from the staff, they were always friendly and welcoming. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from bikini beach. Thulusdoo island was also incredibly memorable, offering an authentic local experience. Their activities and experiences are topnotch. With the surf shop they partner with, the surfing was equally fantastic, and the employees, including shimy and himy, were outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay! Special thanks to firu (bo(ta)nical boy), messi (Bonaqua man) and elein.

This is the place to go if youre looking for a genuine maldivian experience. The homecooked food is fantastic. Probably the best weve ever had on the island. Furishi and his crew did their absolute best to accommodate every request, their excursions are wonderful and highly recommended, and they even helped us extend our visa. On top of that, there is always snoozy cat around unless you want some cuddles. Will undoubtedly return!.

We will return to see the new building and grill on the beach! To be honest, why stay anywhere else on thulusdhoo? My dad and i arrived in Thulusshobos for a 10day surf trip, and after booking another place and being messed up (which is another story), we went to Akiri and spoke with firushan, who was incredibly helpful and ultimately saved our surf vacation! The surf package that arakiris offers is fantastic, their local knowledge of the surf, wind, tide, weather, etc. Ali, our surfing guide, was excellent in talking where to go for an excursion the next day and organizing everything around what all the guests wanted! Our accommodation was very impressive we were booked in tucked away from arikirus itself (1 minute walk) with fully functional air conditioning, an en suite that didnt smell, as well as enough room for all of our belongings! Breakfast options included pancakes, continental, or traditional maldivian which were really delicious with freshly caught fish, tuna chips, vegetables, crispy rice, among other things! Fresh fruit was cut up after each meal for sweet treats! Thuluo is primarily dry island without alcohol. Just off of raulook is located emitted liquor. Firushans assistance in organizing transportation to this boat whenever we wanted during our stay was greatly appreciated! In short,

The best place in thuludhoo with the highest price. We loved the local breakfast mashouni, which is our favorite in the maldives. They serve delicious coffee and if you like it, they organize excursions and surfing classes. Great internet connection!.
