About Baglioni Resort Maldives
Baglioni Resort Maldives, the first Italian Luxury Resort in the Maldives, opened on August 1, 2019. Located on a lush tropical reef island in Dhaalu Atoll, it boasts a 360-degree house reef, stunning beaches, coconut palm trees, crystal clear waters, and breathtaking sunset views.
The resort is situated on Maagau Island and is accessible via a scenic 40-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport (MLE). Roundtrip airport shuttle services are available for a surcharge.
The resort features 96 elegant, air-conditioned villas, some with private pools, offering garden, beach, or ocean views. Each villa is equipped with a minibar, flat-screen television with satellite/cable programming, and complimentary wireless internet access. Select rooms also include a coffee/tea maker. Bathrooms feature separate bathtubs and showers, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, bathrobes, and towels. Many villas offer private balconies or terraces.
Guests can enjoy a diverse culinary experience across multiple restaurants, offering Italian, Japanese, Sushi, and Asian cuisines. Vegetarian, dairy-free, and halal options are available upon request. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, and a complimentary reception is held daily. For beverages, guests can choose from a bar/lounge, beach bar, poolside bar, and a cafe.
