We heartily endorse Vernal and Casa Celia! My boyfriend and I spent five nights here while in Vernal. Our focus was climbing in La Pena and we chose this hotel due to its proximity to the rock. We had a fantastic time while staying here because it is located next to La Pena's parking lot, making it very simple to get around and do hiking and climbing. It is also a short 10-minute stroll to Chichidho's climb or 10 minutes down into town. The accommodations were cozy and spotless. Ours was number 10, which had a view of La Pena and was very quiet. There is a lovely patio overlooking the city and a roof terrace overlooking the stunning rock tower. The proprietor, Antonio, and his cookmaid, Juanita, were friendly and helpful. Neither my boyfriend nor I speak Spanish, and neither of the employees here speak English, but despite this challenge, antonio significantly assisted us in arranging a taxi to the nearby town bus station. The brunch featured a variety of eggs or fruit, toast, tortillas, coffee, or tea. It was substantial and filling enough to fill us up for a day of activities. This hotel was fantastic. This hotel is very pleasant and clean with new bathroom. Even my room has a jacuzzi. The employees were extremely friendly and made the best homemade breakfast. The whole area was very safe with friendly locals. The prices are very reasonable. A short walk to the ecotourism area. If you enjoy climbing, this is the ideal place to stay for 30 dollars a night. If you are interested, I would recommend hiring someone to do the best climbing experience. Look them up on facebook. They handled all my reservations, including this hotel.

The location is strategic and just below the city center, but if you are hiking, this hotel has a nice and safe environment. When arrived, you will see that the rooms are spotless and clean, with hot water and strong pressure in the showers. They also served a delicious breakfast. Besides that, the wifi connection was really good. And then, all the rooms, especially the towels, were spotless and were with high pressure.
