The property is at the end of the malecón, but still not too far from downtown. There were a lot of repairs going on, but it didn’t bother us. It was clean and the staff was super friendly. There wasn’t a lot of places that can have more the 2-4 guests so this really worked out for us. We had 5 guests and an ocean view.

My girlfriend and I were there for a long weekend and relaxing stay… and this hotel did not disappoint! Very quiet, relaxing and well maintained rooms. The weather was hot but the rooms AC blasted cold air. The staff and receptionists were super helpful and friendly. Location is in fact a few walking minutes from El Malecón. Overall great stay, worth the price… we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend it.

We loved our time here! I booked the suite for our girls weekend trip. We arrived earlier than check in and the staff was really helpful. They allowed us to leave our luggage and make use of the amenities by the pool in the mean time. Before check in time the room was ready and the receptionist personally came to let us know. The room itself was great, very clean and spacious. We loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back.

Nos encantó. Fuimos de viaje familiar y ya estamos planeando volver. La habitación nos gustó mucho. Nos quedamos en la suite y el espacio es super cómodo, el balcón con vista al mar hace que despertar temprano valga toda la pena. Las instalaciones del hotel muy cómodas, la alberca, sus regaderas y el restaurante es un super plus. Tanto los desayunos como las cenas deliciosas (impredibles el pan hecho en casa y las costillitas). Lo que más agradecemos es que el servicio fue extraordinario, todos y todas están enfocados en hacernos sentir como en casa. Super recomiendo esta opción para gozar de la estancia en La Paz.

Wonderful stay at Hotel El Moro! This charming and cozy hotel made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with recommendations and local information. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind while exploring La Paz. We especially enjoyed the lovely pool and the personal touch that a smaller hotel provides. If you’re looking for a comfortable, quiet, and authentic place to stay, I highly recommend Hotel El Moro. We would definitely stay here again!

A great place to stay . We thought it had a bar , it does but nothing served at it , it was there so you can take your own drinks and get together. A nice off site restaurant next to it with great food , we ate there most mornings. The pool was relaxing and clean . Staff were very nice . A nice 15 min walk into town down the sea front . We will stay again next year.
