We'll return many times in the future. We spent two nights at Casa Hawala, and we had such a great time that we'll come back with friends at the end of the month! Everything at Casa Hawala was clean and well-run, we had a comfortable king-size bed, hard to find in Mexico, a lovely balcony with a table and two chairs, a refrigerator, and free reign over the outdoor kitchen and communal areas, which included a sparkling clean pool, outdoor tables and chairs perfect for playing cards, and hammocks, parking was covered and secure, and everything you needed, including complimentary coffee each morning, was provided. The owner, his niece, Lucia Valentineine, was the best part, they were so friendly and welcoming, making our experience unforgettable!

Thanks for taking care of us in Hawala. Wonderful place to stay. I followed suite from other reviews and asked for a coffee maker in the room, which was helpful and handy. The host was so friendly and helpful, even though I had to change the itinerary a few times, nothing was too much difficulty.

We have a beautiful view from the balcony. The room was always clean and well-kept. The facilities include a lovely pool that was cleaned every day. There is a kitchen area outside where you can purchase sodas. Coffee was always available at 0700, and refills were immediately provided. The bed was comfortable, and the towels were big and fluffy.

After more than a year, we decided to return to Hawala and our hotel Casa Hawala. It felt as though the proprietor, Valentin, was an old friend. He did everything in his power to make our return visit more pleasant than the first. Additionally, a mutual friend from Mexico City made the long bus ride to join us. The rooms are quite clean, reasonably priced, and within a short block of the beach. We are already thinking about our next visit.
