We drove through Mexico with two dogs and have been extremely diligent in finding pet-friendly hotels to avoid any problems at check-in. Hotel ibis caught our attention because of how it is advertised as being pet-friendly and affordable. After driving for 14 hours, we arrived in Queretaro at Rp and spoke with the receptionist who said we were seeking accommodation with one large dog and one small dog. She quoted us 200 additional pesos for each dog and explained that if we waited online, the best price for the room. Angelica informed us that there was a dog limit when we arrived at the hotel not even 20 minutes later with the room already paid for, and then, that there was a size limit. This was never mentioned online or during our phone conversation. The customer service was terrible, we were met with rudeness and a not our problem attitude. As they went, it was obvious they were misrepresenting the rules, saying, "I need to charge me for a room with two beds, what?", that they would be charging 300 pesos per dog, and that a $100 damage deposit would now be required. After some serious back and forth, they caved and allowed us to remain for the original agreed upon rate, the damage deposit was the one redeeming aspect. This is the last time I visited the Hotel and I will say, The Best Hotel in Queretaro. One of the best rooms that I have ever been stayed in. Although the staff were not caring and there was no maintenance, it was still a very good feeling, even the poor condition of the elevator and the bad condition of the poster that was seen around the hotel. The hotel was very expensive. The staff was very attentive. This place was so beautiful. The price that they give with their excellent service was affordable and nice.

I stayed in the hotel just for one night bug 4. Hotel located outside the city. If you don't have a car, there are no places to go. The first thing I saw when I came in for check-in was there was trash on the floor at the main entrance, but by the time I checked out, 15 hours later, it was still there, so nobody had cleaned it. fast check-in, not hospitable, not rude. My room on the fourth floor is quiet with excellent air conditioning, and it is very basic. Not an issue for me, I understand I'm not in a hotel, but I found hairs under the bed and under the pillows. I called the front desk and they sent someone to change the sheets and pillows. Breakfast is excellent, even better than other ibis hotels I've stayed in other countries. However, I won't go back. One thing is that ibis is a cheap actor hotel and another thing is that their hotel needs more cleanliness.

About Ibis Queretaro

The ibis Queretaro hotel is located next to the famous Corregidora soccer stadium and opposite the bus station, just 10 minutes from the downtown area. It is home to 160 modern rooms, 48 of which have twin double beds and 5 of which are adapted for guests with reduced mobility. All our rooms are soundproofed and feature air conditioning.
