I wanted to try something different, so I decided to go to Puta since this is my fifth visit to Mandar. Three flights take off and land from the wagon, but the effort is well worthwhile. There aren't many affordable tourist lodging options, and the Malik lodge is certainly not a cheap one. But it is situated in a lovely spot, with views of the snow-capped mountains that can be seen on a clear day from the platform outside the eatery. Accommodation is in a row of thatched cottages that are situated along the river with a beautiful outlook. The food was excellent. I did not take advantage of the hotel's white water rafting and trekking choices this time. Puta is a charming, friendly town. There are some government restrictions on where visitors can go, but there is still plenty to see from the trekking areas that you may visit. I would definitely advise those with the time and money who want to experience nature at its finest. It isn't currently flooded with tourists. We were the only two of us in the lodge, and there were probably three other tourists on the plane up. You are then in control of the local airlines about when you get up and go back based on the notion that you can only get a plane.

This is a relaxing place, it has a lovely view and very friendly and polite staff. The room is spacious and inviting, there are lots of activities in the area, but staying in the room most of the day was great too.

I stayed 2 nights at Malik Lodge just after we visited Puta. The bungalow is amazing. The giant bath tub is very tempting. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. It's amazing that we did rafting. The view is so stunning, the water is cold, clear, and clean. Couldn't believe this is Mandarin. The sachin food we had at lunch and supper is excellent. I'm Thai and you're aware of the greatness of Thai cuisine. Sachin food is different but very tasty and different from traditional burmese cuisine. We arrive at 6.30 from the main lodge and see Snow Cap Mountain. Attached image.

We had a great experience at Malik Lodge 2. Spacious rooms along a river bank lined with stones. I like the calm ambiance and the cool weather. We had dinner across the street from this hotel with an authentic local restaurant in the day time for a fraction of the hotel price. The typical tourist places are river cruises, waterfalls, and papplications.

The bars here are exquisite. The view of the lake was breathtaking. The bar also had lovely decor. The bar was very chic. You can ride bikes, quad bikes, and jet skis. The hotel room was spotless and comfortable to stay in, in fact, it is quite far from the city center and airport.
