Ce lodge est d'un excellent rapport qualité prix avec des chambres digne des meilleurs lodge de Namibie (spacieuse, confortable,). Le personnel est également très professionnel et serviable. Finalement le seul défaut de ce lodge est de ne pas avoir un cadre exceptionnel car il est situé en ville (Omaruru est d’ailleurs plutôt agréable).

Very nice and clean place. Large rooms. A large choice of courses for the dinner. Breakfast very poor in comparison (only a fruit salad, some "yogurt" on the buffet and some toasts, omelet and tea/coffee on request).

We stayed at Kahuna for one night. The rooms were well appointed with air conditioning. The beds need updating. Bathroom lighting is not good. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A little expensive for what you get. Nad 1300 per room. Wifi in the room did not work.

Very nice stay, I'm going to Windhoek after Tanja, Opus, and Brandenburg. The room is very large and with plenty of space for luggage and personal belongings. The luxury rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly.

We stayed in this area for 2 nights. They give a 510 couid discount which is much less than most places in namibia at the moment, but take it or leave it I guess. This is one of the more expensive places in Omarauru town, and this shows in the price. But the rooms are big and spotless. Very nice beds and surroundings. Good wifi. The cuisine is top of the range. But. The miscommunication on the phone about the family room pricing before arrival was annoying. Although some staff are good, others need service and language training as they are simply not ready to communicate with visitors and also don't try. I'm leaning towards 3. 5 stars which is not an option, and the constant miscommunication with some staff, sulky faces, and breakfast being late even though we were the almost only guests paying good money in downtime would make 4 stars a stretch. But, there is some potential! Definitely give it a try.

The location is great, the staffs are helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back to stay at Kahuna Guest House.

This hotel offers two days of rest stop in Kahuna. This hotel has an excellent service and reception. On the way to Namibia's northern part, especially if you stay in Tasha. This hotel is also close to grind. You can find rhinos at the Omaruru game lodge which is about 20 kilometers away. The free standing rooms are tastefully designed and I adore their layout. There are thatched roofs and rooms surrounded by trees and plants. However, the lodge provided mosquito repellent in the rooms and was careful with mosquitoes.

Sono stata una notte in questo albergo alloggiando in uno chalet molto spazioso con cucina e salotto e posto auto riservato praticamente davanti la porta. Mi è piaciuto molto il giardino dove si può passare del tempo rilassandosi ed usufruire del segnale WI-FI assente in camera. La cena ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative ed anzi le porzioni erano anche abbondanti.

My Dad, Brother and I were coming towards the end of an adventure through Botswana and Namibia and this hotel from past experience was a great place to stop on the way to Swakopmund from Etosha. The service was friendly and the food was good. The upstairs mosquito nets don't really fit the bed properly and that was major source of discomfort with the mozzies about, otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Very satisfied. Hotel staff were superb and the food was very good. The hotel is well maintained and provides all needed amenities for the family. The family accomodation provided was appropriate. The room had a good selection of teas/coffee and even had a mosquito repellent for use, if needed.

Das Hotel liegt am Stadtrand daher war man auf das Hotelrestaurant angewiesen. Die Bedienung hätte freundlicher sein können. Da sich auch gerade ein Reisegruppe im Hotel aufhielt konzentrierte sich das Personal auf diese Gruppe. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist in die Jahre gekommen. Sessel und Sofa waren ziemlich durchgesessen. Eine Sanierung täte ganz gut. Da wir nur auf der Durchreise waren ist es für eine Nacht OK gewesen.

The town of Omaruru is small with little to do near by. It seems to be used more or less as a stopover for those going from Etosha to Swakopmund or visa versa. As with other places we visited, we came in the off season meaning it was not busy. They did not have a reservation for us, but quickly made adjustments and gave us a room. The room was larger than needed, clean, and well-catered toward western tourists. The service was consistently congenial and we felt taken care of.

We stayed in room 5 - what is classed as a luxury bungalow. This was by far the worst place I stayed in during my 2 week trip in Namibia. On arrival, there was no one in reception, after a long wait we had to wait even longer till they sorted out the mistake in our booking. On entering our 'luxury' bungalow - there was musty smell. The room was extremely large with a living room area, big bathroom etc. We had no hot water in the evening and only enough hot water for one person in the morning. The TV didn't even work. The service overall was really awful and extremely slow. Would not recommend to anyone!!! Couldn't wait to leave!
