The location was excellent, it is on an attractive cobbled street in the center of beautiful leaden, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make things work. This was the best hotel stay I have had in a very long time.

I would recommend this place for a peaceful weekend. Very strategic location. Very friendly and helpful owner. Wonderful room. I think a few things should be kept in mind when booking the room in the front, especially the narrow spiral stairs to the bedroom and the restaurant opposite closed after 11 p.m. if you have a room in the front.

Good location, the owner went out of his way to have our room ready by 1200, when we were expected to arrive. He also called a cab to take me to the university. Breakfast was simple but good. Limos are almost by definition, a boutique hotel, much more pleasant to stay at than any large hotel. Less good at the Steenhof suites where we typically stay, but which were sold out we have more space, usually at comparable or slightly higher prices. The room was a little small, the bed wasn't very comfortable, and there was a mini fridge but only for and with wine. The stairs were very narrow, which was a problem for my wife because she has hip protests. The loud noise from the street until well after 300 am was most problematic.

This is truly a treasure to be looked at. Despite it being early in the morning, when visitors are eating breakfast, the welcome is always friendly. I had already received a key, even though the accommodation was not ready. I found my suitcase neatly in the closet when I got home in the evening. The hotel is in a national monument. This means you can find many vintage fittings. The staircase that leads to the rooms is fairly steep. I thought Willem van Oranje may have once walked here. The entry to the apartment is accessible once on top of a small landing. This is tidy and has all modern conveniences, including a large comfortable bed, two chairs facing the to, a small workstation, and finally, a kettle and a coffee maker. National monument windows do not have double glazing. Finally, a fantastic brunch is served.
