Certainly an individual hotel in an individual building, especially if you are used to 'big chain' groups. Quirky with truly welcoming friendly staff. Loved the idea to allow guests to pop down to reception with their cup and choose a hot drink from the dispenser, although you also have the usual room kettle with sachets of coffee, tea etc. 24/7 reception staff. My room, although compact (I did choose a small double room) was really quiet, the bed so comfortable I managed to oversleep one day (I must get a louder alarm). I chose the room which overlooked the canal basin, very interesting to watch particularly when it became dark. The hotel is right on the edge of the 'red light' district, again makes it easy to just walk out and sightsee. I made a suggestion about a 'tweek' for the shower cubicle and the man on reception agreed it should be passed on to their buildings manager - when I return (and I hope I will) it'll be interesting to see if they have done it also I hope it does work!! Thank you all for making my stay so enjoyable.

Great location very close to the train station, room was a fun setup for 4 people at the very top of the building and had a beautiful view of the area. Room and the lobby were all very clean and it was nice have an elevator that at least got us up to the 3rd floor lol

Got upgraded to a larger room with a view over the water. Which was awesome. If you have problems with dizzyness or don't like having sealegs, beware of that this hotel is old, and therefore has floors that are not leveled. You get used to it. And it was fine by me. The room was ok sized. Nice bathroom. Got an AC. And you could make yourself coffee and tea in the room. You have to order breakfast, if you want some. The hotel is right by the central station, so it's got shops, cafes and bars right outside the door though. Perfect hotel for those who travel by train. Perfect for a solo traveller. The staff was super welcoming and kind.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer ganz oben unterm Dach, erreichbar per Aufzug und über sehr schmale Treppen – das Hotel ist insgesamt etwas verwinkelt. Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig ausgestattet, für uns zwei völlig ausreichend. Für größere Personen könnte die Dachschräge im Bad etwas unpraktisch sein. Das Zimmer ließ sich über die Klimaanlage angenehm temperieren. Die Lage ist top: super zentral und trotzdem ruhig, nur ca. 5 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Saubere Betten und Handtücher, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal sowie die Möglichkeit, Gepäck vor und nach dem Check-In/Out sicher zu lagern. Insgesamt eine tolle Ausgangslage für Amsterdam – wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen und empfehlen es weiter.

Perfect solo setup. The room was great, but the real draw is the building’s history and the canal view. It’s a convenient spot, everything from the nightlife to the train, bus, ferry station is right there. You’re in the middle of the Amsterdam buzz, but the room itself was a solid retreat. No complaints.

The Hotel CC is a great hotel, we travelled with another couple. Our room was in the basement with a view of the canal and the other room was on the firat floor with canal view also. The rooms were spacious for Amsterdam and the hotel was updated, clean and the staff were wonderful. In the morning you bring your coffee cup to the front desk and get a cappuccino and take it back to your room to enjoy the view. The hotel is steps away from the train station and 2 blocks off the main drag. There are plently of shops, café and restaurants within walming distance. For being so close to amenities, the hotel room waa very quiet. The Red Light district is a few blocks away but don't let that influence your decision. I will be back to hotel CC.

Good hotel to stay in Amsterdam, close to Amsterdam Central. I’ve stayed with my 17-years old daughter for 5 nights. Originally (1st night) we’ve got a very small room, it would be tough to enjoy our stay. But we’ve got a bigger room with the court yard windows for the rest of our stay and it was a very nice and comfortable accommodation. The location of this hotel is very convenient for shopping, restaurants and transportation, but a bit too close to Red Light District, so it could be crowded and stressful sometimes

Interesting hotel to stay in. It’s like a maze with lots of stairs and many possibilities to get around the building. On the first night of my 5 days stay I’ve got a very small room. But next day Pablo (very good stuff member) moved me and my daughter (who arrived 2 nights after) to a bigger and more comfortable room. We would not be comfortable together with our suitcases in the first room for sure. So, I’m very happy that Pablo was able to make us very comfortable in our stay at Hotel CC. The location of the hotel is good: close to Amsterdam Central, but in the meantime very close to the Red light district with everything that associates with it. But inside the hotel you feel safe and comfortable. Would recommend 👍
