We recently returned from three nights at the Hotel de Market. Nice location because it is in the city center. The warning was loud on Friday and Saturday nights because it was over a bar. The room was clean and comfortable with the room being serviced daily, the shower toilet room was small but sufficient. There are no tea and coffee making facilities so if you enjoy tea and coffee bring your own kettle etc. We were staying over the bank holiday weekend so we expected noise from the bar, we were on the first floor and didn't have too much issue with the noise. A good stay all around.

The rooms are quite small but clean. Towels are changed daily, rooms are fully cleaned at least once a week. There can be noise on Friday or Saturday nights. There is no one on the site of an evening, so if you lose your key or need assistance, you have to wait until the next day. There is no emergency number. Which can be frustrating because the window in my room didn't close or lock correctly, but it was a security issue. The bathrooms are good. Powerful shower and always hot water. The bedroom could use some improvement, especially a solid door and window lock. Wifi was also good.

We stayed here for one night, and we were in the area for a friend's party going away. Checking went well in the downstairs bar. The room was tidy, had fast wifi and a nice shower. We skipped breakfast. Be aware that the location is higher than most bars, so there will be some noise. Overall, I thought it was a bit pricey, but not too expensive. Overall a fairly normal experience.
