About Mister Highland Amsterdam

This hotel is located in the heart of the old city on a main street. It lies just a few steps from the historic Dam square, the central square in Amsterdam, where visitors will find the Royal Palace and the New Church. The central train station is about a 10-minute walk away and shopping and night life centres are close to the hotel. Guests will find the best department stores, the unique Magna Plaza shopping centre, and the long Kalverstraat pedestrian shopping street close by. Excursions by bus leave from outside the hotel and boat trips leave from just down the street. Surrounding the hotel are the canals with their historical buildings. This city hotel was opened in 1973 and since then has been owned by the same family. It comprises a total of 43 rooms and the two connecting buildings are from the 17th century. Throughout the hotel guests will find typical Amsterdam ceilings with old oak beams. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby with a 24-hour reception and a new reception area, lift access, wireless Internet access (charges apply) and a spacious lounge. Parking is available for those arriving by car. The rooms are modern and comfortable. All come with a private bathroom with a shower, a WC and a hairdryer. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Internet access and a safe. The hotel has a beautiful breakfast room and offers a delicious buffet breakfast.
