This place is in a very basic way. There is no closet or dresser for clothes. And then the location is very strategic, close to the train station.

The only good thing is the room itself. The receptionist at check in was very uninterested. Not much information about breakfast and how to get to our room. I had a difficult time finding the room because the hotel is a maze. I booked a room with a window facing the side street just next to Karl Johan but couldn't sleep because a flute was playing outside.

For the positive, the location is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and includes everything you need. According to hotel employees, the hotel bar was sadly closed early due to unknown causes, which was somewhat disappointing because it would have been nice to be able to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine on the lovely patio outside the bar. Because lights could not be individually switched off or dimmed, the lighting in the room was either extremely bright or completely dark. It may have been I was just unlucky with my room, but it was difficult to find the motel is a maze! Additionally, every 10 minutes, pipes, ventilation system, or other devices made a terrible noise that resembled someone tossing loudly on metal pipes with a wrench. To rest, use earplugs!.

This is an amazing place to stay in an excellent position for central solo. It is obvious that this is going to be a fun stay from the minute you enter the courtyard. At check-in, the staff was incredibly warm and helpful, making sure I had all the information I required. My room was small but clean and perfectly arranged, with a super comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Breakfast didn't disappoint either, with a great range of everything you could need.
