We chose to spend our new year's Eve at Castia Isabel since we wanted to go to the beach. We had fun because the owner's family was there to share it with us. It was a tranquil dinner before simply watching the fireworks on the shore. The setting is ok for animals. They have beachfront. Expect to have a beach of corals and rocks because animal is not a sandy beach. It is truly suitable for diving. The place is quiet, and the rooms are ok. The cost is reasonably priced. What I didn't like about the food. They only offer a pre-dining meal. Nothing great about the cuisine. I also suggest that the resort have a mini-market where guests can purchase essential items such as soap, toothbrushes, sunblock, etc. and make the menu better. The owner is so kind and accommodating. The staff are responsive and rapid.

At the conclusion of our trip, we stayed at Casita Isabel for two nights after reading excellent reviews about the hotel and its setting. But I must say that I have never had so mixed opinions about a location as this as what we experienced. A place with so much potential but appears run down by time and a lack of visitors over the years. On the one hand, the location was great, the snorkeling and island hopping was nice and we even saw turtles and sharks among all sorts of colorful coral and fish. We enjoyed relaxing and reading by the sea, kayaking, and even our rooms view of the sea in between tall trees was wonderful. Everything was perfect. On the other hand, the hotel management and staff were the most dismal experience. We were the only guests there and I am not even sure when someone checked last checked. To the point, the staff consisting of 2 mothers carrying their children and a few others who all live on site appeared surprised and uninformed of what to do with us, it doesn't help either they barely speak English. They made us feel like they were doing us a favor by being there. There are no pricing lists on sight, so you must rely on verbal monetary agreements on the spot, which might change as well. When I asked for fruit at breakfast, the waiter looked shocked because there were no food options and you had to eat whatever

We stayed at the villa in front of the beach. Compared to the photos, it was even more beautiful. The food is prepared at home and very affordable. If you like snorkeling but don't want to go to far places, this is the place to be! Marine life on the surface is vibrant and spectacular. We rented a boat because we wanted to swim, and it took us to a secluded island with white sand and clear blue waters. The boatmen stayed with us until we wanted to leave and return to the resort. This location is stunning and reasonably priced. Without a doubt, I'll return and recommend it to friends and family.

So, the property itself was nice and beautiful and staff were super friendly. Even the nearby hotels/villas allowed us (me and my gf) to dine in at their bar/restaurants.

Staff and the excellent view are the ones to like in the place. Food is okay, rooms are clean but needs to be renovated. squicky bamboo bed, aircon needs to be replaced, old and cannot really cool the room. Pet-friendly. I like the beach and my kid loves the pool. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless.

The place was really relaxing, staffs were nice and very accomodating. You can even ask them to buy stuffs for you if they don't have it in their resort however pool side and cemented stairs are slimmy. You have to be very careful when walking if you don't want to get scratches or

Lugnt och enkelt! Det finns ingenting i närmeten så det gäller att man som gäst är redo för att slappa loss. Och ta med badskor!

CONS • The food wasn't great, not alot of choices (2 or 3 to be exact) • Place is a bit rundown, pool (more like a fish pond) is dirty. • the owner wasn't very accommodating, it's like staying in a place where you don't feel welcome. • Parking is horrendous, way too steep PROS • The staff were lovely especially kuya Charles • Buttons the lab was so cuteeee • the view is amazing and very relaxed • cold beers

Overpriced and very poor service. No ref, no kettle, no TV. Once you find somebody, at least they are kind. Food? If you have no car, you will find a hard something besides cup noodles. Boat trips? overpriced as well

The single lane driveway to the property is a treacherous/slippery downhill drive. Unit sleeps 6 people but manager charged me $30 for extra bed that is filthy. Included breakfast is only coffee & toast. No choice but to buy their food, pricey $9 per person. Not a resort; No activities; No services! Not worth a 2nd night stay!!

Katastrophe.. Keine 10€/Nacht wert. Absolut keine weiterempfehlung! Dreckig, im "Restaurant" gibt es nur 2 Speisen und das sehr teuer!
