During my stay in Kraken, I really enjoyed myself here. The rooms are nice, and everyone here is very friendly. I felt so comfortable here, and that was one of the highlights of my trip.

If your looking for a more relaxed atmosphere than party hostels, this is the place for you. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to give you advice on where to go, where to eat, etc. Other guests were also very friendly.

For a week's singing lesson, I stayed at Woodpecker's. They serve breakfast. The beds in the rooms have comfy mattresses and a spacious tank for a single item. I strongly suggest Woodpecker's as a wonderful location for people who need somewhere to rest and need to socialize. Next time I visit Kraken, I'll be there.

The hostel is conveniently situated 15 minutes by foot from the bus stop and on the superior border of the old town. The room was clean and organized. Bed was comfortable. Same goes for the kitchen and shower. They serve breakfast! The hostel staff was very friendly and willing to assist you by giving recommendations for restaurants and other things. Next to the hostel are a supermarket, restaurants serving typical foods, and a club. It is recommended that you avoid letting outside noises into your room when night comes.

I will definitely recommend this place. This place has a wonderful little discovery. Perfectly sized, easy to make friends, and not intimidating. Very nice atmosphere thanks to the very nice staff. On one of my nights, we all went to a local pub. Also, Gabrielle, who was particularly helpful in directing me to some cool places, was really kind and helpful.
