We only stayed 2 nights but if we return to Porto, we will stay longer and stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even coming to find us when we got lost trying to find the hotel. We had room 5, which is the only room with an upper bunk bed, but it was still very comfortable. There is a lift for luggage, but just steps for people. There cannot be a better view in all of Porto.

I would not recommend staying homey! I left this guesthouse yesterday and couldn't have been happier! The location, which is essentially in the center of the tourist district if you like that, is the only positive aspect. The room was quite small, with no space for a nightstand or a closet. We had to store our stuff in the luggage, which was in the way making the room even smaller. The bed was awful! Cheap and old.. I felt every spring inside it and didn't sleep the whole time we were there. The bathroom is modest, but good. The entire area smells like sewage, it must be from the basement. Breakfast is served in a small room with the least enthusiasm ever. American coffee, milk, and juices are all available straight from their boxes. Every morning, there is fresh bread, fruit, cheese, and lunch meats. The girl asks you how you want your eggs, and prepares them for you. They also offer cereals, yogurt, and a small cake. We spent 100 per night, which was way too much for this location. They even charged us 15 extra for a late check at 10 pm.

I love the room, and the bed is comfortable, and there are antique wooden shutters with the lovely window seat. And then, the employees here were helpful and polite. Following that, the breakfast was wonderful. After that, despite the continental breakfast, the breakfast selection was excellent. Subsequently, there's a scrambled egg option, which was delicious and freshly cooked.

At the end of our twoweek journey, we spent three nights here. The setting is outstanding. Diffuse restaurants are just outside your door, right next to the river. Several excellent ones are right around the corner. The walk there takes you to a charming, narrow old terrace building situated on a cobbled old town road that feels historic and characteristic. The guest house has some of that character but has been modernized to a very high standard, and the home has some of that character. The staff was all very pleasant, especially the girl who served breakfast every morning, I can't remember the name. We had a twin room on the ground floor that overlooked the entrance. Although the road is filled with eateries and residents, we could not hear a thing, which was wonderful. The room was an acceptable size. A fantastic location to remain for a few nights and see what Porto has to offer.
