First thing is that there is no actual reception and you have to call a Portuguese number to get into the hostel. The girls working there are quite nice and helpful but as mentioned hardly spotted. The pictures promise a little bit more than what really is. The bathroom in particular is not so nice and has some mold. The location and connection are really good, metro and bus are only around the corner. There is also a really cool and cheap restaurant in the corner which I can strongly recommend for breakfast there.

Although the girl is very nice and does try to help with communication, her English was very basic which made communication difficult. The hostel isn't badly placed, but the rooms are extremely basic. The doors have a gap when you close or lock them, so you can't hear anyone's movements at all and find it difficult to get a full night's sleep without interruption. I frequently stay in hostels when I travel abroad, and while I know they are the less expensive options, I often find them good. I frequently try to get a hostel with a team of staff and always a person at the reception, but this isn't the case here and we were woken at one and then again at one of the morning by someone who kept eating the doorbell. If only about budget, go to this hostel, but if you want a room where you can relax in, look elsewhere Charlotte.

The hotel staff were very friendly, they took us in the middle of the night and didn't even warn them before. Each room has lockers so there is no fear of theft. The wifi works well, the rooms are clean and the location is perfect.

I just stayed one night. No negatives. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean. The lady is friendly and it was no problem to leave our luggage for some time after check-out. I recommend it for short stays.

This hotel is a decent hotel overall. ok for a few nights, clean with friendly staff and WiFi is good.
