The Sky Hotel is a relatively old hotel and is changing its name into a prestige hotel. It is a comfortable hotel with a great bed. The amenities are aged but can be cherished. The staff is also helpful. The location is one challenge, but taxis are readily available.

The location was near the city center and the live band was present most of the weekends. The food was clean, nice, and organic. It was quite busy being on the main road leading to Nyamirambo. A great place to enjoy the evening breeze and contemplate the sunset on Mount Kali. At the moment the location has changed and now the Kali citizen polyclinic is operating. It will be missed.

I decided to stay at the Crown Hotel every time I visit Kali for the cost, friendly staff, and unique organic food that you won't find anywhere else on earth. One more thing my coworkers and I enjoy the most is the extra services that include music, sauna and steam. I've seen a few guys who had bad experiences, I will say, you should be more communicating, I always report things of value to reception to ensure security. Because it is possible for some people to claim things they never had. Thank you.

The Eminence Hotel, or better known as the Sky Hotel, is a comfortable and relaxing location to stay. It is situated in the center of Kali's business districts, and popular destinations like the US Banks and the main market only take a few minutes to walk. Special mention should go to the receptionist and restaurant personnel like Jacques, Manasseh, Prism and Emile who are always smiling and accommodating to your questions. Housekeeping personnel like Kasongo and bananas who are always friendly and smiling are also friendly. with all of it's conveniences. calm and safe. Don't worry about the security of your objects in the room or at the reception.

I stayed in a luxurious hotel for five days in January 2016. I enjoyed my stay, and I was on the third floor Southside room which was far from noise and enjoyed the view of the hills. The staffs were friendly and their service was satisfactory.

This Hotel is in the center of Kigali and near the City Tower, you can easily walk there. The rest was very disappointing... Loud construction works going on, no hot water in my room, the free airport transfer which was PROMISED and is advertised on the website was NOT provided (don't believe any promise made by a guy named IVAN. He first said there is no free airport transport, then agreed about it and took note of my flight details but never sent the taxi!). No mosquito nets on the windows and no closing windows, so mosquitos will come into the room. Only one channel on TV! If you are just looking for simple room for one night this hotel could be ok, otherwise you'll miss many things here on longer stays!

The only good thing about this hotel is the central position near the City center and the City Tower. Otherwise I was very disappointed with almost everything: no hot water in my room, lots of noise due to present construction works and to other careless hotel guests (on top several people tried to come into my room early morning!). For the breakfast (2 eggs, 1 banana and a cup of milk) I had to wait over half an hour every morning!! And on the TV you can see only one channel (which can be changed only from the reception and is the same one for all the people in the hotel). Not all rooms are the same (some have a nice view, some have no hot water, some have no phone, some have no internet connection - no internet connection on the second and third floor). At least the guy at the reception was very nice and tried to help. Concerning my stay, as I checked in in the evening, I was given one of the worst rooms although I booked online well in advance. I asked to change the room but I was always told it was not possible, maybe "tomorrow" (so even if you book your room a couple of months ahead of time do not expect to get a good room!). On my last day I finally could change the room and could take a hot shower, what a feeling!! So if you choose this hotel I suggest arriving early in Kigali and choosing your room, otherwise you'll get the leftover! I guess you can get better hotels in Kigali for this rate (e.g. Hotel Okapi or Hotel Impala)
