I recently went to the rooftop terrace at the hotel for open air cinema night. It was great and the pizza was delicious. Highly recommended and they have a good variety of drinks and other food options!

Aside from the obvious off-road location, this hotel is in a good spot, for a tranquil and peaceful environment while being close to major highways and beyond. The rooms are simple but adequate for the cost. The rooftop pizza is the greatest. Also, with a view of the famous lighthouse, which can be reached on foot. And while the public areas are simple, they are cozy and comfortable, which makes sitting around just a pleasure.

I can tell you the name of this hotel from the famous party held every Thursday night. The rooftop is incredibly comfy and nicely decorated, music is good, people are friendly. Pizza looks good as well. I've had many pleasant days here. I will definitely come back on Thursday evening afterparty at So Beach.

I'm very happy with the attitude of the owner and the receptionist, they even responded to all my emails as quickly as possible. I'm very grateful because that's the best for me. But for the facilities or the services, I didn't find them to be worth the $70 per night bill. I have found other places in Dakar that are much cleaner, nicer and more affordable.

What a relief to find Hotel du phare! I had planned to book a room online before my trip, but it was fully booked. When I got to Dakara, I went around to the hotel and discovered that someone had canceled their reservation and the room was available! What luck! I immediately quit my airing, which wasn't good enough, and moved into the hotel. It's a cozy, convenient, and strategically located little hotel. The best part was they suggested to us a driver for our stay, my. Ibrahim, who took us around Dakara for the following four days. He is an honest, courteous, and friendly person who will make an effort to give you the best experience possible and make you feel safe. You can contact him on 22177207783. My french isn't great, but we were able to communicate well and be understood by each other. We had a great time staying at the hotel and Dakara due to Ibrahim!.
