The location is a brief walk from the city center but there are buses that operate very often and the walk is rather pleasant in nice weather. When I stay in a hostel typically it is an older building with very run-down used amenities, which I don't mind too much because they are cheap. Dragons Dream Hostel is the best of both worlds. This is one of the best hostels in Ljubljana, and the hostel itself is amazing. I arrived late at night past the usual check-in time due to a delayed train. This was no issue and the manager was extremely helpful, helping me check before I arrived and also during the stay with any issues I might have had. I didn't see him during my stay, but I can tell he was very friendly through the brief conversation we had on the phone. Access to the building and room is very simple using an orcode sent via email. The hostel is clean and modern, with pods all with reading lights, charging points, wireless charging stations, and plug sockets, and the bathrooms are also very modern and clean. The pods also felt quite large. I was aft and didn't feel crammed in a small room, instead I felt like I had enough space to be comfortable.

Overall, a fantastic stay. I heartily suggest it! Stunningly restored heritage building. Excellent, roomy, contemporary accommodations, nice restrooms, and linens of high quality. Breakfast was also delicious. a superb chocolate cake for breakfast. Centrally situated in the pedestrian area of the city center of Ljubljana, close to the tourist attractions. Numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, and shopping are nearby. Parking is close to the hotel, and the hotel can arrange a buggy to transport you and your luggage there. The hotel lobby is a peaceful location to unwind and have a drink. The personnel are very courteous, polite, and kind.

The sheets were clean enough. The communal areas were tidy, but it did get a bit messy during the day, as is to be expected when sharing with others and not the owners' responsibility. The bedding was adequate. You are given a double sheet that acts as a sleeping bag when the beds weren't made on arrival. I would have preferred a bottom sheet and a top sheet, but I think that is common in Europe. The rooms are very basic and not that big, but as a solo traveler I thought they were ideal. Would stay again if visiting Ljubljana in the future.

This place is not suitable for couples who are on a larger or taller side. They provide a double sheet that acts as a sleeping bag, but the beds weren't made when you arrived. I believe this can be common in Europe since the bedding was clean. I stayed in cube central rooms for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The communal areas were cleaned properly, however, during the day it might become a little dirty, but this is to be expected when sharing with others, and not the companies' fault. I will stay back next time I visit Ljubljana in the future.

It's a pleasant place near the city center. Quiet atmosphere. Nicely renovated rooms, clean bathrooms, and a large kitchen with everything you need to cook. Old booklets of events in Ljubljana from January 2020 and even older, with a lot of dust, nobody takes care of it. The receptionist is only there at night. The first day I discovered that he didn't get me all the keys I needed. So, check all keys.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the bus station and the slums. Even though we didn't have AC. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and even if a bit hot, all the facilities were perfect. There are private showers, bathroom, kitchen, and common areas. The place is very safe and quiet.

The location is perfect for the entire city! If you come by car, make sure you reserve the parking lot which is conveniently located right next to the hostel. The accommodation itself is what you would expect, simple basics: 1 locker that is actually locked, optional, but clean and in good condition. The only downside is that you can really hear everything from the outside, and the automatic lights on the street open illuminate the entire room. So, depends on how deep your sleep is.

In mid-July, we remained here for two nights. We had a cot and a suitcase shelf attached to the window, and we had good luck. When we were there, it was clean and peaceful, not like a party hostel at all, and there was no open area. So, you're there to explore, not to spend the night inside. A pleasant, peaceful location away from the crowds, where we felt like natives. Just down the street, to the left, we came across a fantastic small eatery, and a fantastic coffee shop just before the old town began.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the stay, especially the staff was very pleasant. The location was clean, with excellent wifi, the room is cosy and comfortable. The rooms are basic but still have all the amenities we need. A light, chargers, or codes to get information. I found the beds to be very cosy, but I kept banging my head every time I woke up.

Overall, a nice low-cost spot with no pomposity, and we advise it to those with limited lodging budgets. Very clean and very close to the city center, about 15 minutes on foot. There is no food available on site, but a cafe for breakfast is 7 minutes away.

Great hotel in the center of the old town. The hotel is in a pedestrian area so you have to park a few blocks away, but it wasn't a problem at all. The staff offered to help us with our luggage when we arrived. We didn't need assistance, but if we wanted, it was there. The hotel is small and quiet, with only 20 rooms. The rooms are very nicely decorated. Beautiful bedding, nice towels, robes, slippers, etc. Our room on the first floor was spacious, despite the fact that I believe it was one of the smaller rooms. It looked out onto the canal and castle. It was in the pedestrian zone, but it was at the end of the strip so it was nice and quiet at night. Breakfast was included and wellstocked. There are lots of choices so whatever your preference, youll find something to eat. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Helped me book a manicure, which I wouldn't have done on my own. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I'm very recommend this place. The hotel is in the center of this beautiful city. Close to the riverside, cafes, and restaurants, and all the attractions. Its a century-old opulence within a historic architectural marvel. The breakfast buffet is excellent with many choices and the staff can't be more helpful.

The hostel is in a prime location, but the only drawback is that the nighttime route to get there was a little isolated, and I had to go into a sizable garden park, which at night didn't appear the best idea at all but ended up being satisfactory, and I'm confident the area is fantastic. It used to be a university hall, and it has been cleaned and new. The inviting room with a desk and comfortable beds and tiles in the gardens in the restrooms were wonderful. I was on the first floor, but due to the indoor structure structure, I could hear them from upstairs, but they didn't last all evening, and I could get a restful night's sleep. I also want to highlight the generosity of the receptionists, both of whom are courteous, and how they are available 24 hours a day are essential. The one who was there very finely resolved a number of issues when I was there. It would have been nice to have been alone in a double room rather than a bedroom, but just commenting because I asked for a private. She suggested a lovely caféteria for breakfast nearby, which was convenient since it is roughly 20 minutes from the railway station.

A beautiful hotel in a great location just a few steps from the river bank with it's lively cafes and restaurants. A newly refurbished hotel with old world charm. The rooms were very comfortable and the quality of sheets and housekeeping were excellent. Every time we went for breakfast, we returned to the tidy and clean room. I had to ask the manager-owner for the name of the housekeeping staff to personally thank them. Thank you, Melaka, Tanya, and Fatwa. Breakfast buffet was excellent with options for freshly made eggs and coffee. The homemade cake deserves special recognition. Our stay was again very special thanks to your attention to detail, friendliness, and warmth, thank you bank, ana, mata, martin, and ales. we will undoubtedly return.
