This is an amazing sea-facing resort in the swanky Umhlanga area. It's not far from many restaurants and nightlife. The units are large and well appointed. Its guests appear to be mostly locals. We did not try the restaurants as the hours seemed off with our schedule. The only downside is that the staff seems unprepared for guests' arrivals - not enough people at the front desk - and then pushy when they help you. I would stay there again.

We loved staying here - we travelled from jnb and from the US. It would have been wonderful if they had more options for excursions to town and airport shuttle throughout the year. Durban is an amazing destination all year round so I think that these services should be available to the guests.

The best ever holiday we had with my family staff was so amazing. The cleaner (Mzobe) was a bom thank you so much Mzobe and for understanding when people are travelling with kids. The guys at reception were so helpful.My kids enjoyed every moment will be back soon.

It was a busy weekend for the resort, plenty of families and couples taking advantage for Valentines weekend. But none of that got in the way of our quiet romantic stay. Our room was at the farthest end of the corridor so we had solitude. Inside was super spacious, bigger than it looked in the photos, bed super comfortable and aircon was on when we arrived. View was impeccable, large windows with full sea views, over looking the busy pool and lawns below. Cons: check in at 14:00 was really slow, so maybe check in later in the afternoon if you can. 1 out of 3 elevators were working and the one that did work the doors opened creepily. That being said really easy and comfortable stay for young couple. Resort is right next to a nature reserve with a trail for walking and running which was really convenient and fun. I would come again.

Hi The sand pit area was booked for a function so my kids were unable to utilize it. The storm caused a power outage last nite. No ups power in the room I checked out early as we could not make kids baby formula. The pool had a lots of insects in the water. Lots of monkeys as well.

The kids and adults really enjoyed the facilities and the wonderful entertainment staff. The cleanliness of the apartment was not good. There were cockroaches in the middle of winter in the apartment. Kitchen was grimey. Microwave and fridge not clean. And the bathrooms were very dated
