The property is a hidden gem. The Sunrock guest house was beautiful, clean and comfortable and the dinner was delicious. I Would definitely stay there again with my family when traveling through Johannesburg.

This is a gorgeous little oasis. Food was absolutely top notch (must get dinner buffet here!). Staff were so friendly and attentive. Nicely priced spa and gift shop. All 4 people agreed this was our best stay in Africa.

During departure, I had booked a shuttle to the airport as per the hotel policies. I checked into the front desk 5 mins before departure, and was hanging outside the reception. About 3 mins after departure time, as did not see any one approach me, I asked the front desk person, and she said that since I was not waiting at the desk, the shuttle left!! Very disappointing attitude. I thereafter booked an Uber and left.

This is a gem of a property near the Johannesburg Airport. Its an oasis with beautiful gardens. b Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Plan to to take all meals on the property as it is not an area where you will venture out. Landi did fantastic massages for a reasonable price. Beautiful pool for the summertime.

This was truly an oasis from the outside neighbourhood. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, bathroom was big with a great pressure shower and fan. Even though the neighbourhood was alarming we felt very safe within the complex. Breakfast was a very good buffet, staff were friendly and it was good value. Free shuttle to and from the airport...an excellent stopover location.

The Sunrock Guesthouse is a beautiful peaceful oasis very close to the airport. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. When you stay, sign up for their evening buffet, as the food was absolutely delicious! Breakfast was included and also very good. We would for sure stay again if ever in Johannesburg.

Wonderful and generous staff. Very clean property and accomodating to my picker eater. Very communicative from the initial reservation. Was not treated like a second class citizen because I used hotels.com for my booking. Would definitely come back. Great shuttle, food, and setting.

I would highly recommend Sunrock Guesthouse for anyone needing accomodations near JNB airport. The guesthouse is located five minutes away. The rooms are very clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The entire property was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The property had a cozy feel to it, as the pictures suggest. The staff go above and beyond and the food was excellent. I had trouble with lost luggage which required a additional trip back to the airport and a long wait by the driver, the guesthouse was helpful in this regard l'm happy to say. I would recommend Sunrock to single travelers as well as families.

An oasis near the airport. It was great having the shuttle and the day trips were a good idea we went to Soweto and it was a first class trip and certainly was good if you have a flight later in the day. Rooms, breakfast and gardens with pool all of a high standard
