We chose to stay here rather than the overpriced paradox and we thought we had made a good choice. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and traditional. It had a lovely atrium and was classically laid out. The location was perfect in the old town. At night, the streets were a little noisy with street cleaners washing the plaza outside. Car parking was not the problem that I thought it might be, I left my car at a free parking lot 5 minute walk away after dropping off our luggage.

Great place in the heart of the historical center, very comfortable rooms for family of 4 (got two doubles for very good price). Parking was free in nearby city parking lot, a very nice stay overall.

The town of Ubeda has some of the best Renaissance architecture in Europe. The hotel is a small 16th century palace with a beautiful patio in an elegant square next to the main square of the old town. All the sights are within walking distance and the bus station is only twenty minutes' walk away. I enjoyed exploring the magnificent Chapel of The Saviour, a spectacular masterpiece of 16th century Renaissance architecture, the Synagogue of the Water, a recently uncovered and restored 13th century synagogue, and the Museum of St John of the Cross, where the Spanish mystic died. I would recommend both Ubeda and the hotel Maria de Molina for a cultural break with splendid architecture and excellent restaurants in abundant supply

Structure in an ancient structure in a beautiful historic center of used. To get there, you must hike 200 steps uphill, with difficult carrying of baggage on uneven street pavements because the structure is located in a pedestrian zone that is not accessible to cars. For those lucky enough to have a room overlooking the Town Hall Square, a beautiful view. Except when you are woken up from the garbage hauler at five in the morning. With the classic lock key, the rooms are still closed. The bathrooms need to be renovated and made more comfortable. The bed is crucial. After the room was cleaned and arranged, I was surprised by the lack of respect for energy savings, and I kept on finding the lamp's light while I had always left it off. Poor quality breakfast, where most of the food is packaged, and when it was left, I was surprised by that. The staff is very courteous and competent, but he consists of a few units that alternate between one role and another within the structure. When you return after 11:00 am, remember to bring the access codes you were given at the entry. Pay in cash, otherwise, you will incur a fee of around 5 if you use a credit card. I think the price is high, given my experience in other hotels of the same category in Spain, and I stayed during off-season.

The location of this hotel is excellent in the heart of used. The building is old and has a stunning central courtyard. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, with fairly high ceilings, we had two large double beds, and the bathroom was equally large. We could park our vehicle in front to unload and checkin, and then find free street parking a few minutes away. Some things could be improved, the plumbing worked but was a bit worn out. On the first night on Friday there was some street noise, but it wasnt too bad, even for a light sleeper. We had no problems with our reservation, but our friends were involved in a mixup that saw them charged twice, albeit in four separate payments all made at once. We will stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced centrally located place to stay.

Overall, the hotel is charming, attractive, and conveniently situated, however, as other reviewers have mentioned, better signage would be helpful when I departed from the bus station and became terribly lost! During my trip around the area, I stayed here for two nights, and the hotel served as a nice base for exploring. This luxury, privately run hotel is located in a historic building overlooking the town hall and is located on a street close to the main street of the old town. Its also directly across the main street of the old town, making it ideal for a few excellent tapas eateries. My room was clean and comfortable, with a stunning view of the square, and the receptionists were pleasant. Wifi seems to be located in the lobby, but because my room was immediately above reception, I had a strong signal. On my second night, someone attempted to enter my apartment in the early hours. There was no way to enter, and I believe it was a different guest who mistook my floor for theirs when it was somewhat worse for wear when I returned. Because we were unable to converse in each others language, it was impossible for me to relay this incident to the lady at the front desk that morning, and I left with the impression that this problem wasnt resolved.

In the center of historical usage, this three-star hotel is situated in a charming, century-old mansion overlooking the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Since there is very little traffic around, our stay was quite tranquil. We were in a room with lovely views of the city. The bathroom and room were both a good size and the amenities included a small to and minibar, and the midweek price was only 43 per night obtained through a comparison site, which was excellent value. For the warmer months, the hotel amenities had a restaurant and a small splash pool. Our only complaint was that the roommate wasn't working and the furniture was a bit worn out. If you are traveling by car, you should keep in mind that Qua de St. Lucia's mirror is less than a 10 minute walk away, just near the mirror. Since dining is not open until late in Spain, visitors should also keep in mind that the hotel's main doors are closed at 11 p.m. and that access is done using a code provided by the reception when they arrive, so don't complete checking without obtaining one! In conclusion, this is a beautifully located and distinctive historical hotel that provides excellent value for money.
