We chose the San Genodio room because it was spacious and quiet. The location is close to the beach and the museum. Besides that, the hostess named Maria and Mario are so kind and considerate.

We had a great time when we stayed here. Although Maria and Marco made us feel so welcome and were very helpful, and despite their limited English proficiency and almost no Spanish proficiency, they were incredible at allowing us to visit all the wonderful locations in the valley and the surrounding area. The hotel is located in a tiny village, so the only sound is the river and the birdsong. Breakfast was a hit, and the hotel is very comfortable. The village bar is attached to the hotel, and it is the heart of the community, and it serves delicious, healthy food. The village offers numerous beautiful walks all around. We had an unforgettable time there. This is the place for you if you want a quiet, welcoming establishment that is run by charming individuals.

There's no need to stay for 2 nights here because on my way to northern Spain, this 3-star rural hotel was in the middle of nowhere, the cleanliness was impeccable, the staff was friendly, and the location was very strategic, especially for being located in a small village with around 40 houses, which seem to be vacation homes, the local bar was a plus! There's nothing more in the village, and the closest town is 5 kg away. If you want to travel, you really must eat at the hotel, and the food here was very average, which is what I found to be a lot of mess. The bedroom was huge and on a third floor, with no elevator, and all of the very dark wood, and the bathroom was well equipped. The fact that it rained and was cold probably didn't help. The fact that it was so cold and it was raining probably didn't help. They make their own wine, which was very reasonable and good, despite the fact that the red came so chilled! We traveled with the same person, but if you want a walking base, it's fine.

This is a lovely hotel in a small village with around 60 people in the hills, a short journey from Punta Gorda. It has recently been renovated and enhanced from an historic building, and is a delight. Wonderful design, lively village bar, excellent food, wine, and service, and just so welcoming. Owner is Maria. We enjoyed the home-made liqueurs at the bar. Our bedroom with a balcony looked across this tiny valley and was really spacious and tastefully furnished. Great value and an enjoyable experience.
