In July 2012, I stayed at the Mend Goinna hotel for two nights. I am a celiac and find it frustrating, if not impossible, to obtain gluten-free food. I was informed in advance that I could not eat gluten by this hotel, and it was delicious and the service was excellent. I was travelling as a part of an organized excursion, and the tour company made all of the arrangements.

I spent 2 nights in this location on business. The service was very fast with the gorgeous scenery and the hotel's cleanliness was excellent. There are dinner menus that must be booked in advance.

In July, I stayed in this modest boutique hotel for an interview with victor arguinzoniz from the well-known restaurant Amador etxebarri. 11 rooms are available in this small boutique hotel with antique farm machinery. The atmosphere is similar to Hansel and Green or Remy. When surrounded by sheep and mountains, you feel alone in the world. An excellent experience. John, a 29-year-old young man who is extremely caring, is the proprietor. Every room has a gorgeous view, red carpets, comfortable beds, and beautiful bathrooms. The restaurant features a wall of glass so you can observe the sun going down or rising. Both the breakfast and the typical bask dishes are excellent. Excellent Spanish wines from the finalist. Extremely friendly assistance. I will undoubtedly return to this amazing location. I wish John all the best in the world. I slept for 120 euros a night.

A short distance away, along an old railway line, there is a nice, wellmaintained trail that is ideal for getting out of your meal after your siesta! The village is charming and calm, and the service is welcoming. This small hotel up the hill is a great place to take a rest after eating lunch in etxebarri and spending the night. Its not fancy, but it has genuine character, amazing old flagstones, and, we thought, it was a decent value. It is a nice, wellmaintained route that is only a short drive away along an old railway track.

This location qualifies as a rustic tourist with wifi because I was woken up by cowbells. The only reason to stay here is probably to eat dinner at Amador Exteberri. You won't find the hotel on your first attempt here, but it's a pleasant walk up the hill. Search for the colorful recycling bins near the church when you enter town and find it, then take the road up the hill toward a sizable house. You have come to your goal.
