The condition of the room is very small and not comfortable to sleep in. The good thing is that the staff is very accommodating and welcoming. It is very easy to get to by walking, just 1 minute from Gran Via, and the location is good.

During a seven-day visit at the Gran Via Hostel, I stayed in two rooms. The setting is fantastic. I was in the heart of madrid, with Plaza del Sol just a two-minute walk away and all the main attractions there being a short distance, though I would advise using the underground to access the real madrid ground. A single room with a double bed was my first accommodation. Although it was modest, for someone who rarely stayed in the room, it was ideal for my purposes and, with a guarantee, perfectly met my needs. It was also very tidy, as I most appreciate. When my wife joined me a few days later, my second room included a double bedroom. The space was enormous and roomy, and it was ideal for us both. Once again, there was an a guarantee, and the room was spotless to a very high standard. The staff was extremely accommodating. They were ready to assist and advise us on places to go, as well as assisted with interpreting the Renee train that we were scheduled to travel on at later time. Anybody looking to see the sights and get a very reasonable price should consider staying at this hotel.

The condition of the room was neat, and the walls were very thin, but the location of the room was nice and the location was close to the building so it was not noisy. But the elevator couldn't be used and the stairs were very steep.

The place was clean, with fresh linen and towels changing every day. The environment was also very clean and the towels and sheets were changed every day. During Ul final in Tottenham, I Livepool, we stayed here and it was great value. It was located right off Gran Via, which was very central and would have been within walking distance of everywhere if it hadn't been so hot. The staff was very pleasant and even carried my suitcase up the stairs. Cold drinks are also available for sale. There is air conditioning and an en suite bathroom. A to, but no english channels.

We stayed here just one day ago from August 2018. Excellent points Great central location, close to restaurants, bars, and shops. The main strip, with lots of stores, is a short walk away. The front desk is always on duty, and wifi is free and simple to use. There was also air conditioning. Bad points, the room was very small and basic, and we didn't receive a room as the main pictures. There was no fridge, safe, or hair dryer. Our bathroom looked outdated, green and yellow, and at night, outside noise was loud, and we were awake well after midnight on both nights. Although the room had a balcony, you couldn't sit outside because it was being used to house the air conditioner. We are unlikely to return here.
