When we got there in the evening, the owner was greeted and helped us carry our bags along a long trail. He was really kind and accommodating. Our room was pleasant, with a fan and a small balcony where we could take in the view. The bathroom was big, and was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Up and around a hill, but it is well worth the distance.

We stayed here for two nights. A comfortable 12 minute walk to town along the railway route and the spectacular waterfalls view. A delightful way to wake up is calling peacocks. The property owner's couple is really kind and helpful. One night, they served us dinner. They also made sure that our favorite Sri Lankan breakfast was served with milk rice.

We had a great time at Cascade Valley. The setting is beautiful, the owner was extremely attentive, the breakfast was delicious, the rooms were spacious and cool enough to use the fan. There is a little path to get there from the road, but the owner met us at the road and carried our luggage. We spotted peacocks and had a view of fields and a lovely waterfall in the distance. The location is away from the town, making it feel isolated and tranquil. We also had supper, which was delicious with rice and curry.

What a great stay. 10 minute walk to the city via the railway. Breakfast was delicious and the evening meal was amazing. The rooms were really clean. Don't be put off by the lack of air conditioning, ella is cooler and a fan is adequate.
