I have to wait a while to write this evaluation. I needed a little distance from it. I traveled with two families. 4 adults and 4 children, all together. It truly is isolated and away from anything. You can find a few little shops where you can buy some essentials a half hour walk down the beach. It's a hot walk, but the water is ideal, so you could just pop in and out all the way down. The beach is spectacular, private and all yours. We felt like millionaires on our own private beach. It is by far the best beach we've ever seen on our trip to Asia. We had swimmers and non swimmers, and everyone could get in. It was crystal clear when the sun was shining. Cocoville also has its own gate to the beach. You can also watch local fishermen placing their nets in and out. They are amazing and work really hard. The accommodation itself was pretty good, in a basic sense. We are aware that things happen, but since there are four children to feed, we were facing a little awkward. We decided against using the bath tub and the evening meal was a great experience. I should add that the meal was decent. When we contacted the owner, it seemed like he only told us to leave, so that was not what we wanted. I loved the beach but I wouldn't be returning. One of the most wonderful locations we stayed in Sri Lanka. Because there are only two cabanas, it is incredibly remote, and there isnt much nearby in terms of restaurants, so we ate in the hotel every night. The fresh seafood was excellent, and the rice and curry were among the finest weve ever tasted in Sri Lanka. Just order a few hours in advance of your meals. We were able to take a late train from Valachchenai to the hotel showers for half the price since none else was staying that night, thanks to the manager jacobs kindness. Warm showers, a comfy bed, and spotless space. Possibly because of the size of the room, the ac wasnt particularly strong! In general, I would heartily advise.

The atmosphere of cocoville was so beautiful as soon as we stepped out of the car, surrounded by palm trees, and so tranquil and relaxing, like our own private paradise. A small and amiable team of employees who give you the space you need but is always there if you need them. It was a perfect getaway.

This location is stunning. Since I want it to be out of the spotlight, I feel like I would rather not write a review. We had four lovely days here. The resorts begin down the beach, just along the beach. It is idyllic, straightforward, and completely private. The hostesses were incredibly competent and straightforward. The breakfast was straightforward yet adequate, and the cuisine was excellent. Relax on a small, beautiful shoreline as the local fishermen gather their nets every morning. If youre into a pampered resort, do yourself a favor and remain here if that is what you like. We remained in the cottage, cabin, cabin, and hut. A touch tired but nonetheless earthy and cosy.

This beautiful place is fantastic! It is located on private grounds next to the perfect and isolated beach, and the only other signs of life along this stretch of beach are the herd of cows that run up and down. There are roomy cabanas, a large bathroom, a small kitchen, and a private terrace. The staff is incredibly welcoming and pleasant. Excellent breakfasts are offered for an additional fee. Dinner is offered for a surprising wide variety of local and Asian foods at reasonably low prices. Youll need to order it a few hours in advance to get the guys to buy the ingredients. A 15minute walk down the beach, there is a beach bar where you can also eat and have a drink. After spending the previous few days walking cycling around the cultural triangle, Cocoville turned out to be the ideal location to unwind for a few days.
