My three friends and I just had a fantastic time with Gavin and his family, who opened the Gall Camellia only one year ago. The hotel is conveniently located for quick access to Gall We went there for cricket with the tourist beach area only a 15-minute taxi or tub ride away. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful, the children were excellent at translating for us, which helped the vacation run smoothly. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the bed was really comfortable without aching in the morning! The pool was clean and even the wifi worked a bit. Breakfast was a highlight with a variety of choices, mostly eggs and curry, every day. The highlight for us was when the hosts demanded that they cook us dinner on the final night, with gavin bringing us the beers from the local supermarket to help us celebrate a wonderful journey and the long-awaited win for England. I would recommend this hotel at any time.

We had a great time at Gall Aelia. The room was very clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. The setting was beautiful and the pool was great. The hosts were very nice and made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. We had breakfast and lunch which was very good. Overall a great place and definitely worth booking!.

Very satisfying and well-deserved stay. We were staying in a ground-floor room looking out over the pool. The hosts were great, and there was a lot of breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great shower and bathroom, if the water runs hot a bit. The pool looked great even though I didn't get it personally. The grounds are spotless. It's a bit away from the coast or the Dutch fort, but by Tutu Janu 2018, it takes 600 lkr, which the hosts are more than pleased to organize.

We will come back to stay at Gal Camellia again. The hosts are very friendly and very helpful, always smiling and doing a fantastic job. We feel like we are in our own home. Very quiet and calm area. The pool was great! The hosts children also went swimming with us on the second day. Very attractive location with memorable memories. Thank you.

My three friends and I had a wonderful time with the delightful family who run Gall Camellia. As part of the English barmy army, we visited to watch the cricket and experience gall. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was lovely, and the wifi worked! Breakfast was excellent, with everything from eggs to curry. The highlight for us was the last night when the hosts made us supper. They were there to assist us whenever we needed advice, a taxi, a tub, or even a few beers collected!.
