Gården är ytterst varsamt renoverad. Tidigare verksamhet var ”dårhus” för välbeställda män! Så kakelugn, men inget indraget vatten till rummen. Smidigt att själv checka in enl. SMS info, fin frukost, lugnt, centralt och vackert läge.

A wonderful experience to stay in an authentic old converted nunnery across the street from the world famous abbey and many other sites and a block from the water. Also breakfast was delicious and the beds comfortable.

Mahtava majoitus historiallisessa miljöössä. Jaettuja kylpyhuoneita ei kannata pelästyä, niitä oli tarpeeksi ja siisteystaso oli loistava. Hienosti entistetty ja entisöity 1800-luvun henkeen. Aamu-uintikin onnistuu hyvin lyhyen kävelymatkan päästä. Aamupala herkullinen.

Wer dekadenten Luxus erwartet, ist hier falsch. Wer aber den authentischen Charme eines beinahe 200jährigen Hauses mit knarzenden Dielen, quietschenden Türen, eisernen Bettgestellen und Toiletten auf halber Treppe zu schätzen weiß, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Das gute Frühstück im nostalgischen Ambiente rundet den Wohlfühlcharakter ab.

Det var usædvanligt, - holdt smukt i den gamle historiske stil. Lækkert sængetøj, dejlig thekøkken og hyggelig stuer og gårdhave. Inklusiv en super lækker morgen mad. Tæt på kirken og pilgrim centrum. Fri parkering...det bliver ikke bedre🤗

The two buildings of this hotel, 200 years ago was a mental hospital. That is history. Now that it’s a hotel, the rooms are absolutely old Swedish charming. I can only talk about my room, but everything in it was antique and beautiful and fit with the period. It was very quiet. In between the two buildings it’s a lovely, circular garden, and there are tables and chairs out in front of each building. The breakfast was a Swedish breakfast as you would expect plus ginger shots. The staff was very nice and helpful. And just a few steps from the hotel is a path that goes around the lake to the castle by way of the kloster.
