A fantastic overnight stop that prepared me for my next-day meeting. I would happily stay there again in the same way. I spent the night before getting back to work in the following town. The hotel is located on the road and is divided into three buildings-the original inn that houses the restaurant, a new annexe on the same spot, and a semi-self-catering kitchen for those who do not want to eat in the inn. There is plenty of free parking, but in the winter, the roads could use a bit more grit I went skating, if not sledging. The annexe is entered by the same keycard you use for your room and has a small number of large, secure rooms. Mine was really clean, new, warm, and secure, if slightly spartan, but that's not a bad thing, and the restroom was excellent. It had a properly working wet room with a proper slanted floor, a wide shower enclosure, and lots of hot water. My bed was perfectly comfortable and did not affect my good nights sleep. For what appears to be a roadside pub, the inn serves food that is a little better than you'd expect.
