We came here for business and stayed for one night. I stayed in the modern part of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The toiletries are basic but adequate. The service was great attentive, polite and welcoming. I had the usual continental breakfast and check out was great. The hotel is just across the road from the station but could not hear trains or road traffic. Overall a good stay. I would stay here again.

The food at the restaurant was really good, it was clean and comfortable, and even bigger with the newer room. The room was so quiet because it was very distant from the road and rails.

It was like a family-run business with a hotel linked to the restaurant. Despite being close to the station, which is good as I arrived by train, I didn't hear any loud sounds. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. This place is very suitable for my return.

The service was good. They provided thick duvets, a contemporary bathroom, and clean rooms. I was not too big to roll over the bed, but I got a good sleep. I had an easy time falling asleep. There was no hot breakfast, but they provide a variety of continental breakfasts, which were sufficient to eat. You might guess from the name. Not only are the facilities limited but functional, they provide good service.

One of the best hotels in Weinfelden that I've ever stayed at is Gasthof Eisenbahn, where I've stayed several times. It gets three stars, but it also looks and feels more. The staff is excellent and amiable, and the rooms are pleasant and tidy. Since the restaurant is part of the glide gourmet guide, the cuisine is excellent. Breakfast is complimentary and is served as a tiny buffet, which is again typical of a three-star hotel. There is free parking, and I've never had a trouble finding one. Even though some rooms may have an additional bed, this is useful when traveling with kids.
