My family of eight and I stayed at The Lilac Elevator inn over the holidays while visiting tarangire and ngorongoro. The motel is nice and tidy, but the management can do better considering the cheapest room is tsh. 80, 00 usd 35 per night. This was our experience. After visiting tarangire in the early hours, we landed at the motel. Most of the luggage was carried to the reception area for checking, etc. During the process of signing the checks, a white couple came in behind us and was given welcome drinks not sure what that meant since we werent even given a glass of water when we arrived double standards! We walked to our rooms, and it costs tsh. The room has no to, ac, telephone, or coffee station. When I inquired about the hotel why that was, they replied that it was a standard room. Things like to, a coffee station, and other such things are no longer luxuries, they are necessities in any hotel room. After that, I ordered room service for our four rooms, which were located on the same floor and adjacent to each other, and I was told it would cost an extra tsh. 5. 00 to deliver food per room. Mind you, I had just paid tsh. 640, 00 for the two

It's a popular Karate site, close to shopping and restaurants, and the friendly and professional service offered by the staff. They helped us plan our safari and all the rooms have balconies. And then, they served a delicious breakfast.

The location of the hotel is close to shops and restaurants. The staff is very polite, friendly and professional, helped us organize the safari, the rooms are pleasant, with balconies, and breakfast is varied and tasty, definitely a place to recommend.
