The most special thing about the Kathalee is its position. Without doubt the best beach on the island. A little paradise away from all the long tail boats. They offer free snorkelling gear and kayaks which is great. They also provide a free shuttle service to walking street between 6:30 to 7:30 pm each night. We then got a motorcycle cab back which cost 50 baht per person which is great fun if a little hairy !!! The views are lovely from the room (we had deluxe sea view) and it provides everything you need (A/C, shower and nice bed). The rooms are practical not luxurious but great for what you need on a Thai beach holiday. Staff are all lovely and breakfast was good - fresh fruit, yogurt, toast and jam etc with freshly cooked omelettes/eggs. All the staff were lovely. Koh Lipe is truly a special place and the Kathalee is a great place to spend your holiday

Nice service. There seemed to be plumbing issues but they were sorted out. TV only had Thai channels. Got a couple relaxing massages on the beach

Beautiful property, wonderful views and amazing staff. Every one was kind and helpful. Breakfast had lots of choices with the selections changing daily. Our favorites were the fruit and traditional Thai food. Can't wait until my next visit!

Хороший отель, очень приветливый персонал. Номера не идеальные, но вполне можно жить, общее впечатление они не портят. Отличный пляж!!! Райское местечко. Место очень подходит для любителей поплавать с маской.

初めてのリペへの旅行だったので口コミも参考にしながら選ばせてもらいました。立地はサンライズビーチの端でプライベートビーチの様に確保されたスペースでシュノーケリングを楽しむ事が出来ました。ホテルのスタッフも皆、愛想が良く、特にウォーキングストリートへ送迎してくれた男性のスタッフの対応は非常に良かったです。難点としては、ウォーキングストリートからは少し距離がある事、山を越えた場所にホテルがある為、急な坂道が歩くのには大変でした。またホテルはレストランには余り力を注いでいない様で朝食も卵料理を中心とした同じメニューの繰り返しで長期滞在する場合には飽きがきます。その点を除けば非常に満足できるホテルだったと思います。

There's absolutely nothing to complain for a 3-star hotel. Situated on a small chilling private beach a bit outside of the center (10-min walk but transpotation is offered by the hotel in case there's a need for). The management does its best to fullfill all the customers wishes. I can highly recommend that Hotel and will definaltey stay there again. This is a great hotel located right on the best beach in Koh Lipe. It's at the quieter end of the beach with nice little areas to swim and relax on the swings in the shade. The room is lovely with a nice view over the beach, breakfast is adequate, most staff don't speak much English although Norbert is from Germany and speaks perfect English so is able to help with any questions. There is a free shuttle into walking street where most restaurants are, however there are some great restaurants near the hotel as well (Serendipity for the view, 10 moons and Castaway for the food). There seems to be some bioluminescence along the waters edge at night which is interesting to see. Good snorkelling off sunrise beach as well. Quite a fair walk up the hill to some of the rooms although it's definitely manageable even in the heat. The shower isn't separate from the rest of the bathroom so it tends to get very wet everywhere in the bathroom. All up, a great hotel and I would stay again
