The hotel is close to the beach and it is also very easy to access. The cleanliness is good with a quiet place, and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff offer a delicious barbecue on the house for New Year's Eve while I was there.

Very clean and the staff is helpful in arranging taxis etc. Tea and coffee available as laundry. Just 10 minutes walk to beach through the path not on the main road. The only issue was they didn't provide the keys so the dorm door was not locked at night.

We arrived in Oh Tao 2 days before the worst rainstorm to hit the island in 20 years! I believe we would have gotten mad if it wasn't for this hostel, the family that runs it, and the people who live here. The rooms are cleaned every day, the outside areas are lovely and cleaned daily by the diligent staff. They were there to lend us all our waterproofs when we wanted to go out and booked taxis and ferry for those trying to get off the island and helped guests who could not get more cash out. Tea and coffee are available for free, the wifi in this area is good, and they also provide food. The beach is a 10-minute walk down a beautiful path through the trees, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the opposite direction just a 10-minute walk away. It's in a rural area, but everything you need is easily accessible and it's only a 10-minute taxi from the pier. Get in one of the open-topped axis, it's a great way to introduce yourself to Oh Tao and its bustling streets! Truly, we were astonished by the generosity shown to us by the people here, who have had parts of their town swept away by floods. I would recommend this location for anyone as it offers a variety of rooms and private beach huts. Very kind people

The hostel is not hard to find at first, but it is a hidden gem. It's not too difficult to walk to the town. It's a bit out of the way but has good showers, beds and a common area. The common area is more a few picnic tables that are great for pre drinking and socializing. There is also a pool table area next door. The staff is helpful and accommodating.
