We stayed three nights at the Emerald Bungalow Resort. The food and accommodation were excellent. The beach is great because there are only a few small resorts in this neighborhood. So it's not as packed as other beaches in ao hang, which is a large tourist area nearby. In the evening, you can take lovely, romantic walks along the beach in the moonlight. The hotel is run by Kit, the owner, who is fluent in English. So the service will be as exclusive as another lodging in the same price bracket. He can arrange transportation and other unique services for you. Sadly, the majority of this service is organized by him. Because his employees aren't proficient in English, there will be no special service provided if he's not there. Also, I didn't like that no services were listed on a list. They don't have wifi, but you can get a happy holiday sim that provides unlimited data for 7 or 14 days at 300 500 baht. Your card will depend on the card you buy. The location is a little out of the way. It is pleasant on the one hand because it is calm. On the other hand, getting to Ao Hang is a little challenging. You can walk along the beach to the canal's edge and purchase a longboat for about 150 baht. Overall, I recommend this visit, but

A pleasant place with attentive staff and a quiet environment. However, the location is a bit out of reach from the nearest towns. Grab town takes about an hour to get there and zoning takes about 20 minutes to get there.

The beach is the nicest part of this place. There arent many resorts in this region, so we hardly had the whole beach to ourselves, despite the fact that it was the best holiday season from December 29 to January 1, 2015. The waters were quite calm and clean, with no long tail boats coming and going like in ao hang or railroad, making taking a dip in the sea a truly wonderful experience. We reserved 2 bungalows, which were clean with daily cleaning and towel changes and spacious, but despite some furnishings needed repair the tap in one bathroom was broken, the overall experience was pleasant. It was without a doubt good value for the money. The resort site, however, is a little remote because it is located some distance away from the main roads. Ao hang by tub takes about 10 to 15 minutes, so be prepared to budget some travel expenses unless you rent a scooter or drive. However, it was simple to get around because Kit, the resort proprietor, regularly manages to book us a tub to carry us around. My opinion, if there is any doubt about the area, it melts away when you consider the resorts beachfront setting! The resort owner is very pleasant and adds a personal touch to the entire area. We love his staff, who were helpful and polite. We would certainly want to come back!.
