White Elephant resort pros. Great pool, close to the same name ex-pat British bar, good value for around 10 dollars.

I just stayed here for 5 nights, the accommodation is beautiful, however the bathroom could use a return, the beds are comfortable, the bungalows and gardens are lovely but. The pool area needs serious cleaning up, there are more broken lounges than useable, a pool table that is not suitable for use, and no umbrellas as shown on all booking websites, it could be better given the good bungalows. Talking to a couple who were there last year, they said they couldn't believe the difference as it is this year. Such a shame because it is in an ideal location, with a few bars nearby and a beach just a 15-minute walk. After 5 days, we had to relocate for the last two nights next door at Paddy Palm, see other reviews because they were booked. The staff is lovely but does not appear to recognize the importance of the outside space.

I paid 700 baht for the superior room. The room has a kitchen, cooking utensils, and a private patio. Saw here during the rain and floods in September 2019. But no problem with flooding or water as it is on a hill. The internet was also very fast enough for Netflix and smart to also get 10 off at the bar.
