WiFi was fast and stable in the hotel area. Service in the hotel was Beyond Excellent, truly loved it! In general also staff spoke quite good English especially when you compare with how much people usually in Istanbul speak English. Two improvement areas though. Noise cancellation could be better and only one of the three elevators was at this stage working. All in all, I strongly recommend this hotel for even a longer stay.

Quartos grandes. Limpos, sem cheiros, silenciosos, camas agradáveis. Na sua chegada há um prato de frutas e outro de doces, uma delicia para quem está cansado após 14h de viagem. No momento estão trocando elevadores e renovando o hotel mas não há ruído. Tudo no maior silêncio . Se volto? Claro.

Recepção excelente. Ambiente acolhedor. Muito gentil do hotel nos receber no quarto com frutas e doces turcos as 3h da manhã após viagem cansativa de 13h desde Brasil.

First of all, it has a wonderful view of the Bosphorus and Maiden's Tower. Our room was clean. The staff helped us in every way and we felt special having breakfast on the terrace. We couldn't use the Spa because we didn't have time. I will come again.

The staff and breakfast was good. Staff went out of their way to treat us right. The location was great. Now the bad. 1 out 3 elevators were working. Construction and water damage in the terrace area. I was supposed to have a king bed, it was more like a small queen. No sound proof walls, you can hear the hallway and next door. The hotel is not 4 star, maybe 2 and 3 on a good day.

Having read the previous reviews for this hotel, I now feel ridiculous for ignoring the warnings about how catastrophically bad this place truly is. To start with the only positive: the staff who welcomed us were friendly and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, that is where the compliments end. The lifts were a near-death experience every single time. You could see into the shaft while listening to unsettling mechanical rumbling before the doors finally jerked open at your floor. It felt less like a hotel elevator and more like a “Final Destination” simulator. If the timer display starts flashing, don’t bother telling reception because they’ll confidently insist the lifts are fine before eventually directing you to a mysterious service elevator that takes an eternity to arrive anywhere. Then there’s the breakfast, which left us with food poisoning severe enough to leave me bedridden for three days. If you need fresh towels during this time, prepare to wait hours before anyone remembers your existence. The room itself was damp, leaking, and covered in condensation. Out of seven plug sockets, only two worked, and the television flickered between purple and green like it was at deaths door. Add paper-thin walls and neighbours behaving like rampant rabbits all night, somehow making the food poisoning experience seem almost relaxing by comparison. This hotel doesn’t just fail expectations, it actively competes with them.

There were dead bedbugs in the room we stayed in, even though we had warned them beforehand because there were many reviews about bedbugs, and they said there weren't any. We paid an extra 50 Euros for dinner, but it was absolutely not worth 50 Euros, and the staff had no knowledge about it; they didn't even offer us options. They offered us Indian food, which we absolutely refused. They sent a salad with no dressing, not even lemon juice; we ate it plain. There was no dessert. Everything was extremely below our expectations. It definitely doesn't deserve 170 Euros for one night. Also, the elevators in the hotel were broken; we constantly had to walk up and down to our room on the 4th floor, and the elevator cabin was incredibly frightening. There was a strange smell in the hotel, not pleasant at all. The staff was very inadequate; the woman at the reception had no knowledge of anything and wasn't at all friendly. I will never go there again.

Room was clean, did not try the breakfast, so can not say if it was good or bad but what was bad: Swimming had no water in it 1 out of 3 lifts worked, so took an age waiting for the lifts Bar downstairs was not open any of the nights i stayed And worst part of all, laundry room was close to my room and all I could hear all night was a washing maching that was badly balanced knocking against the wall all night The music from the local nightclub until 1 am I can put up with , the tiny room is ok for 3 nights. but this f@$king washing machine going all night !!! 100% will not stay there again

By far, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Although I do not blame the hotel staff in general, I hold EXPEDIA responsible for recommending this place and giving it a rating of over 8/10. In my opinion, this hotel does not even deserve a 5 or 6. What I liked: The hotel staff were polite. The location is very close to the Taksim area. That’s it. Everything else belongs in my “dislike” list. The experience was so bad that I checked out after just one night and booked another hotel — fully aware that I would lose the payment for my remaining three nights. What I disliked: This place is NOT suitable for you or your loved ones if you want a relaxed, clean, and enjoyable stay. The property was dirty, crowded, smelly, old, and unwelcoming. We were five people in two rooms, both extremely small — barely enough space to walk. The power outlets were broken and unsafe. The bathroom light flickered constantly. The elevators were tiny, had no ventilation, and we often waited over 5–10 minutes for them. Most of the time, we used the stairs, which themselves were unsafe and frightening to use. The smell of burning wires, smoke, and cigarettes was present throughout the building. The breakfast dining area was crowded, dark, smelly, and unpleasant. The pool, other elevators, and common areas were under construction — with no safety signs. The safe box in our room was broken and required repair. Final verdict: Just don’t go there.
