I will most definitely book at sumengen hotel in my future travels and highly recommend it to all my friends and family. This hotel is very affordable and the staff are very helpful. It is in a very private location and has all the restaurants and markets under your feet. The location is great.

I would recommend it for 1-2 nights if you dont need sleep or bring sleep aids to block out the noise. Group travel, group of 6, booked 3 rooms based on location and great reviews. Pros and cons. Great location, close to old town main attractions, friendly staff. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Nice view of the water from 4th floor and above. Cons the building is old and very noisy. You could hear noise from people above you as well as the streets (with windows closed) well into the night. Breakfast food looked like it had been sitting for several days - not sure how fresh it was. Tap water is marked as not potable i suggest buying some tap water to brush your teeth or taking medicine.

I absolutely loved it. The staff at the desk were extremely helpful. We stayed with our son in a very spacious room. It was immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. Be aware of the hungry seagulls on the terrace. Additionally, there is an elevator available for luggage storage. This place is in an excellent location. In the clean energy suite, you will find plenty of hot water.

I heartily endorse the sumengen hotel for an unforgettable stay in Istanbul. The sumengn hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of iconic landmarks like the blue mosque and the gia Sophia, as well as other notable attractions. I was incredibly impressed by the atmosphere, the panoramic views, and their exceptional service. Their hospitality truly stood out. Breakfast was provided for free in the morning and had a wide variety of options and tasted really good. Additionally, both the rooms and bathrooms were immaculate, contributing to the overall positive experience.

We will definitely return! It was fantastic that we had an extremely early checkin. The rooms were cozy and spotless, and the staff was really helpful. Turkish breakfast, which was mostly vegetarian, was by far the best. There was a breathtaking view of the turkish side of Istanbul from the breakfast room.

The majority of the employees are pleasant and courteous. The room we had was simple and mostly clean. Some lights were broken, and there was some hair on the floor and in the bathroom. It was smaller than we anticipated. Although the air conditioning worked well, it dripped water into the room. Staff quickly resolved the issue. Both the bed and the pillows were extremely firm. Wifi functioned perfectly. You may hear neighbors talking at times because the doors are not wellinsulated, but they are still acceptable. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options (cereals, bread, jams or cheeses tea, coffee, juices for tea or coffee drinks, boiled eggs and scrambled eggs, menemen, fries, potato croquettes, various turkish dishes like lentils and cream cheese with danish, etc.) but it takes some time to get used to. Hotel location is excellent. Mosques are available for visits. There are numerous reasonably priced restaurants catering to tourists. They actively approach you and try to persuade you to enter the restaurant. Small supermarkets such as atms are easily accessible.

The hotel is close to local attractions such as the sultanahmet mosque, the Hagia Sophia, and sulaymaniyah. Topkapi castle is five tram stops away. For 4-5 people in nearby institutions, lunch and dinner will cost between 250 and 300 liras. There is a McDonalds nearby where you can have if you want to change into something more familiar with the food. In addition to the typical cappuccino, there arent many good coffee and tea around.

The location is excellent based on its price. You are in the heart of ancient turkey, and you can walk to all the historical sites, including topgapi palace, sultan suleyman masque, or a rooster, as well as nascent small handcraft bazar. So close. An area that never sleeps, full of tourists, locals with nice bars, restaurants, music, good and varied cuisine. And the sea is right behind you. The dining room offers sweeping views of the ocean, but in summer, the balcony is too hot for sitting even for breakfast. Clean and cozy. Although the breakfast was mediocre, there was still plenty of quality and weak food at the coffee bar, which included dozens of tea bags, delicious french coffee, machine coffee etc. In the morning, staff made countless noise.

This hotel is very nice, spacious, and clean. The bath tub was definitely cleaned properly as i like to do so before using it. All the staff are very friendly and always welcome to interact with my 4 year old. Sultan, the cat, is probably the highlight of this hotel. We love coming back to play with it!.

The location in sultanahmet is excellent and offers a lovely terrace view. However, the quality of the breakfast was subpar, and some common areas and bathrooms were not impeccably clean. Throughout our entire stay, we encountered some disturbing aspects such as chair litter and bird droppings left on the brunch terrace.

We stayed here for a few days 2 months ago. The beds were by far the most comfortable of all the places we remained in turkey! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and suited our needs. Everything was within walking distance. We will definitely be back here when we hopefully visit Istanbul again.

This hotel is affordable even though it is in a great location. Its both private and still close to some of Istanbuls most beautiful historical sites. The service is excellent, and the hotel staff are both very friendly and helpful. If i ever come to Istanbul again, ill definitely book this hotel again. I highly recommend!.

This place is a great place to stay, with excellent service and friendly reception staff. The blue mosque, grand bazaar, and agaya Sophia mosque are all within walking distance. We had savored our stay here, especially the sea view!.
