The woman managing the place was very kind and helpful. She gave us tips for walking around the area and finding restaurants. When we had a little trouble with transportation for our cruise, she contacted a local taxi company who was there in 5 minutes. It made our day much less stressful. Thank you very much!

Was warmly welcomed by the owner, Kara, after I debarked from Royal Caribbean and walked from City cruise terminal. She let me leave my luggage and return to check in. There was no lift, but her husband was kind to bring my bag up to my room before I returned. Room was comfortable and a continental breakfast was included. Stayed two nights before getting on my next cruise. Will stay again!

Vi gikk fra ceuiseskipet med koffertene på slep opp bakkene til stasjonen, der vi kjøpte togbillett til Gstwick for neste morgen, ca 30 min å gå. Deretter gikk vi opp til losjihuset, ca 20 min fra stasjonen. Vi kom fra cruisskipet litt tidlig, men fikk lov å sjekke inn før tiden og få rommet og bli der hele dagen og natten. Vi har bodd der en gang før for to år siden og kjente oss igjen. Hyggelig vertinne. Deilig engelsk breakfast inkludert. Stille og rolig. Vi bestiller gjerne der igjen. Rimelig B&B helt etter vår smak. Coopbutikk 5 min unna. Fint og sentralt nok hvis man vil være i Southampton og se på museene o a severdig der, i stedet for å overnatta på Gatwick.

Very nice place to stay. Landlady is very welcoming and lovely. Close to the city centre so everywhere is walking distance like the train station and west quays.

Vi kom halv ett om natten for flyet var forsinket. Måtte ringe på, men ble greit lukket inn og fikk lagt oss og sov godt. God frokost. Måtte sjekke ut før kl 10. Spaserte ned til cruiseskipet. Godt fornøyd med overnattingsstedet.

Our stay at Abbey Lodge was excellent, the location is the most convenient, very tidy and clean room and washroom facilities, very delirious and more than plentiful breakfast. Our host was the most accommodating, pleasant and helpful. We would like to thank her for a lovely stay.

We stayed for one night to see some family members in from a cruise. The room was comfortable and had en suite and tv. We left at 6am and didn't see anyone after we checked in. It was lovely and convenient for us we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the ensuing room and did not arrive until almost 8 o'clock. However the owner was really welcoming and gave us all the information we needed. We had a lovely nights sleep due to the comfortable bed and bedding. We stayed one night before joining our cruise ship and will definately stay here again as we are regular cruisers. The breakfast was cooked really well and there was plenty of fruit juice tea and coffee.

The Lady in charge was very hospitable and helpful- even lent me a plug and cord to recharge my phone:) You can walk into town or to the cruise terminal if you are fit.
