We stayed here for a few nights while in Belfast for a family funeral. The hosts Tom and Heather were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. Because I forgot my coat, I was given a scarf to wear with it, which I was really grateful for because of the wind. My uncle got some hot water bottles to use due to his bad back heather. There is even a heated blanket on the sofa in case you get chilly, as well as a variety of throws and blankets to use while watching the boats in the sea using the provided binoculars. Considering the reason we were staying in Belfast, all of these touches made our stay more enjoyable. Breakfast is 100 of the stars. The rooms are all furnished to a high standard. The beds are comfortable. The suites are contemporary and come with walkin power showers and heated towel rails. The house is magnificent overall, and the grounds are wellkept. Certainly will return. Hopefully in the summer.

Staying at Altahammond House was truly an amazing experience - from the comfort of the stay, the gorgeous gardens and the exceptional service from Heather and Tom - it made for a fantastic place to stay. We were well looked after from the minute we set foot in the door. Will be returning to Altahammond house and would recommend that others stay here.

Arrived late. The Owners of the house made be feel so welcome. They went out of there way to help be. By providing an evening meal even though it was late. The room was great with a fantastic view. Breakfast was fantastic. I would throughly recommend this place.

Very warm welcome from the owners of this B&B. I was offered a cooked meal for the evening of my one night stay even though the owners were busy and had other plans. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and very clean. I had a very good nights sleep. The cooked breakfast was first class and extra portions were offered. I will use Altahammond House again on future visits to this area.

I cannot even put into words how lovely this location is. The hosts are the nicest people youll ever meet they go above and beyond for anyone and even took us to the town so we werent waiting for a taxi. We left a smorgasbord and that out for us to take home would not find this service anywhere else! Could not recommend a more beautiful place than this I adored the location so much. I booked our wedding there for 2023, I can not wait. Because I know it will be the most wonderful time. Heather and Tom are very nice, and you feel so at ease with them. Congrats both, the location is fantastic and your hard work has paid off. Everything about the place is spotless, and it clearly shows in every detail, and if you havent seen it before, put it on your list. Its a must for a wedding! Oh, and a mention of the food, which comes from their own butcher. Tom the meat is 100.

The self-catering cottage was like home and the house was very cozy and spacious, and only a few minutes drive from Carrickfergus, the perfect destination for exploring Belfast's coastline, they also have a thank you to Tom Heather. The house was very comfortable and roomy. Our refrigerator had all the necessary ingredients, such as coffee, milk, and tea. We also stocked the delicious breakfast of their own butchers.

I stayed at Althammond hour for two nights. It was the best hotel I have stayed in because of the attention to detail. The heather was stunning and Tom made us feel at home the house was clean and the garden and views were breathtaking.

We've had such a wonderful stay at altahammond's home. We have had the friendliest, most warm, and most welcoming hosts ever, Tom and Heather. They made us feel at ease, and nothing was too much difficulty for them. They couldn't have been more accommodating. We were taken inside the house, given a tour, and given a peek into the rooms and other amenities, and we were astonished. It is an incredibly remarkable piece of history. They have gone above and beyond to make it a sensational I and i. We had a fairly peaceful sleep, and if we wished, we could either help ourselves in their own kitchen or sit by the fire downstairs. Tom and heather were busy in landing and running the farm as well as clearing up other areas of the property, as well as running their I and i, bakery, and butcher shop. The breakfast was also simply delicious, and the room where we had our breakfast was fantastic. The property has fantastic sea views. Overall, it was the highlight of our trip to Northern Ireland, and we can't wait to return to altahammond House and its wonderful hosts. Sean and shauna.
