What a wonderful find. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. The steps in the back garden leading to the town were a whole new experience. Already planning our return trip.

Jeremy and Tomas welcome their guests with a great attitude. They have a wealth of local knowledge, and they are willing to share it and share their suggestions for places to go that more than meets their expectations. The breakfasts are the greatest weve ever experienced, the delicious and beautifully presented dishes are a refreshing take on the standard be fare even though full english is available, they include old family czech recipes to Indian style and are complemented by freshly baked bread and thoughtful use of locally sourced herbs and prepared fruit. See other review photos. Aviemore is a wonderful guest house that we wholeheartedly recommend. Rye has a lot to offer, and we will certainly return to take advantage of the wonderful hospitality of jeremy and tomas. Thank you very much.

We couldnt recommend Aviemore enough, not in our opinion. The way we came upon the Aviemore guesthouse by chance and were blown away. We stayed for six nights and had a great time! Aviemore is the ideal location to stay if you want to go on lovely long hikes in the area rye nature reserve, hastings to Winchelsea, 1066 walk.. Jeremy and tomas are such kind and helpful hosts who offer an endless amount of advice on walks and lovely locations to visit in the area. Each walk, they gave us a flask of tea! We were greeted warmly when we arrived and provided information about rye and the best local bars and restaurants, as well as which to avoid. Very helpful. The steps back of the house into the town center are amazing. The house is beautifully decorated with love and care and recycled furniture. Each item has a story to tell. The guesthouse has this vision because it is so unique. Everything is in the detail! Breakfast is delicious, beautifully displayed, and homecooked, with Tomas own family recipes. It feels like eating at a restaurant. Rye is a lovely town, and theres your ideal vacation paired with a stay at Aviemore. Im sorry but it was for us. You

A true gem is Aviemore guest house. The hotel provided 5 star service for a 3 star cost. The hosts, Jim and Tom, were genuinely pleasant and welcoming and gave us a warm welcome. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, including providing flasks of tea and some biscuits to take with us on our walks and making sure we were wellfed. The brunch was something not even the best hotels could offer it was a carefully curated feast for the senses using locally grown, reasonably priced produce with a Czech twist tomas country of origin. We were completely spoilt. The room we stayed in was charming and had vintage childrens books as well as midcentury modern touches. To truly rest comfortably, the bed was comfortable and firm. Also, there were many little details you would not have expected, including earplugs because the room overlooked a busy road. Jeremy and Tomas surely put time into providing their visitors with a truly memorable experience. Wed also want to see their basement cinema if we had more time.

We are very pleased with the place. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Tomas and Jeremy are wonderful hosts who are attentive and full of excellent recommendations for rye and the surrounding areas. The breakfast is the best we have ever had in a hotel or guesthouse. A wide selection of local seasonal ingredients and unique Czech and English recipes for homemade bread, nuts, seeds, and jams. Our room with its own guest lounge and bathroom and carefully chosen midcentury and antique furnishings were beautifully pleased. We love the focus on reducing plastic and waste at the house and rye is a wonderful destination for vacation.
