Lovely accommodation with antique furniture including a four poster bed. The shower took a bit of adjusting and the tap didn't seem to have much water but the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was quiet and the location was ideal for our purposes

Our (my wife, daughter and myself) two nights' overall stay was excellent. We liked the location (only two miles away from the city centre), opposite the Botanic garden, near the University and nearby plenty of food shops. Staffs were friendly and cooperative and professional as well. They managed a safe and free parking space for me at the rear of the property for the entire two days and nights which really gave me a relaxed tour. Lobby and kitchen (for breakfast were pretty standard and clean. However, we believe there is a space to improve the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, especially the carpet. Even though our overall stay was quite satisfactory.

Booked due to location, handy for Oran Mor and Botanical Gardens. Quiet room for fairly busy street,with lots of local amenities, small supermarketd, fast food and taxi rank within two minute walking radius. Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast lovely. More than reasonable price.

Sehr freundlich, kompetentes team;sehr gutes Frühstück; xtra Wünsche, wie Zusatzdecke werden sofort erfüllt; sehr gute Lage und insgesamt sehr gute Beratung. Rezeption ist 24 Stunden erreichbar und bis spät Abends ist eine Person anwesend. Frühstücksraum ist sehr ansprechend.

朝ごはんが含まれているプランで、フルスコティッシュブラックファストが食べられました。卵はスクランブル、目玉焼き、ポーチドエッグ、ゆで卵から選べました。トーストもおかわりできて、コーヒーまたは紅茶と楽しむことが出来ました。ホテルの部屋もとても広々していました。2人で滞在しましたが、1人クイーンサイズのベッド1つずつでゆったり過ごせました。

Warm welcome as always from reception and they remember me as a repeat guest which is a nice touch. Spotlessly clean bathroom, cosy bed, heating on high for me upon arrival as it was chilly that day. Excellent cooked fresh to order breakfast as always. Very quiet so had a perfect night's sleep.

This was a brilliant location close to plenty of attractions and transport. The hotel was clean and staff were brilliant especially Catherine! So so helpful and she went out of her way to ensure we had a brilliant stay and helps us with any questions we had. She also make a brilliant breakfast. All round great stay and definatly coming back to this hotel!

Amazing value for comfort, and friendliness of the staff. In a great spot with botanic gardens just over the road. Nice breakfast too. All staff very friendly; nothing too much trouble. Only downfall was that we were on top floor - lots of stairs and no lift, but hey ho you can’t have everything. We will be back x

Lovely hotel, spacious room and bathroom. Clerk at check-in was very helpful and arranged an airport taxi for us. Wasn't able to have breakfast there, but it was within walking distance of many local restaurants. Only disadvantage, would habe been very difficult to find on our own. Tiny one-way street, tiny sign in the window. But our cab found it just fine, so no worries!

Am a regular at the Clifton and the lovely young receptionist acknowledged me as a repeat guest which was a lovely touch at check in. Room 8 was big, quiet, great shower, and competitively priced bearing in mind Kelvingrove Bandstand Summer Concerts were going on and Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As always, I loved my full cooked breakfast and can't praise the breakfast team highly enough for how pleasant and extremely efficient they are. There are an ever growing number of top quality bars, cafes, restaurants, vintage shops etc all within a short walk of the hotel. I also highly recommend the Clifton Hotel for it's excellent transport links (access to Hillhead and Kelvinbridge Subway Stations which connect you with Central Glasgow in 6 to 8 mins), its walkable access to Glasgow highlights like the Botanic Gardens (on the doorstep!), Oran Mor and beautiful Kelvingrove Park and bandstand.
