Our room was just lovely! We had the cutest two twin beds room up on the second floor. The views were so nice from the windows. The shower was the best we’d had in Scotland. The breakfast was amazing! Seriously, the black pudding and haggis options were great. Our host, Greg, took care of everything for us. We will come back and stay again.

We absolutely loved it here. The place is super cute and the host was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Once our host realized we were not able to have breakfast at the regular time (due to needing to get back to Edinburgh to return our rental car) he opened up a light breakfast and coffee for us so we had something before our drive. The bed was very comfortable, the room was absolutely adorable. The location was amazing. You walk through a little garden and are a short 3-5 minute walk from the main strip of town. There is parking - when you come in go to the right and down a narrow drive - its around the back. The area felt so safe as well. We didn't have much time to explore - but there are many hiking trails in town as well. You could spend a day or two here easily. We would absolutely recommend a visit here.

This pristine Victorian manse, built in 1863 and perched high above Pitlochry’s main boulevard, features graceful tiered gardens and a 5-minute amble to downtown. Our lovely room, economical bath, lovely linens, and stellar view of the surrounding mountains fit the travelers bill. Host Greg is a consummate pro, anticipating arrivals, offering suggestions, and overseeing a formal breakfast in the gracious dining room. A lovely parlor welcomes relaxation. Rick Steves’ approbation of this hostelry is well deserved.

The property was beautiful, the location ideal for walking all over town and for nice walks in the woods, the hosts were extremely accommodating, friendly and great advise as “what not to miss”. It was a wonderful breakfast with a menu to pick from the night before. It was just an overall wonderful stay and I highly recommend. They bought raspberry jam special for me after the first breakfast when I had requested it and they were out. Extremely thoughtful. Greg and Susan were ideal hosts.

We were looked after really well. The staff couldn't do enough for us. My wife didn't liked smoked bacon for breakfast, which the hotel served. So, Sue went out specially to provide it for my wife on the following morning. We will return.

Lovely hotel. We were met by the friendly owner Greg when we arrived and shown to a lovely room with great views over the hills. The whole hotel (a former large house) is beautifully decorated in keeping with the house, and has well kept gardens for sunny days. Very close to the town centre but quiet. Breakfast was delicious and very well presented. Highly recommended all round.
