A really pleasant stay overall. The room was generously sized, clean and well presented, and breakfast was a good spread to set you up for the day. Finding the entrance on arrival was a little tricky, though that's more a familiarity thing than a reflection on the place itself. Would happily return and recommend.

A very large rustic farm home B&B, large on suit rooms and an amazing breakfast in the heart of beautiful Wales.

Astonishing, value for money, upgraded to wonderful bedroom and bathroom, lovely garden view. Fascinating history, outbuildings, walled garden etc Breakfast excellent, apple juice from the orchard, home made jam. Warm welcome, ,beautiful surrounding countryside. Almost like travelling back in time. Truly wonderful place

It's a very old house and because of that, heating was sparse (I was cold the entire time). Lots of character with peacocks, pigs, and geese. The first night, the internet was just fine. But by the next morning it wasn't working for the next 16 hours. I don't use it for work, so that wasn't so much of a problem. The host is charming but I couldn't reach her by phone. So if you're understanding about certain things, you'll enjoy this property.

We stayed 6 nights at this wonderful, homey location! We stayed in the Brewhouse and loved every minute we were there. Made a fire about every evening and read till bedtime...even the 9 year old that was with us! Didn't turn on the TV 1 time! Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but a small town is only 5 minutes away. The only cons were: Breakfast not included unless you are in a B&B room - the brewhouse is not considered to be. And that we couldn't stay longer! Thanks, Rupert! 5 stars for sure!

This place is a gem of a find. If you're looking for a massive TV in your room with super fast wifi and soulless furniture and plastic coffee then this place is not for you... It is a beautifully well preserved and restored country estate with quirkiness and style that is rare to find. Spotlessly clean and characterful. The bed was probably the most comfortable b&b bed I've ever slept in. In a super quiet, rural location it is a haven of peace and quiet in sumptuous comfort. Ok, theres limited phone signal but you can still make calls if you need to. Personally i used it as a retreat and never looked at my phone while i stayed. Lots of places to vist. Restaurants, take aways and pubs (i can recommend the quality food at the nearby Red Lion) just a short drive or why not walk down the hill and soak up some of the glorious surroundings. Treated like family from the moment i arrived. The dining room is homely and an experience all of its own but go grab a book, make a tea/coffee (lots to choose from) and sot in the fabulous lounge. I went in summer but i bet the log fire brings a real charm in the colder months. Ill be back.

Wonderful location and very friendly owners. Stayed in a b&b room whilst having opportunity to check a number of the other room options for next stay considerations. Every one individual and enticing in its own right. Surrounded by fields overflowing with sheep & lambs as well as the ample grounds including a traditional country house walled garden. Came away completely relaxed. Highly recommended.
