I booked this bed and breakfast last minute Luckily I got this gem of a b and b The booking was super easy, correspondence with the owner was exceptional. On arrival we were greeted by Claire one of the owners very friendly and gave us very clear instructions about our stay . The room was ideal for us as there were only myself and my husband and we're staying just two nights . We had everything we could possibly need and we were messaged to say if we needed anything to let them know . I liked the personal touch of this. Room was excellent very clean and has a heater if it was to drop cold. Will definitely be using again and can't wait to return.

My husband and I stayed at the Ivydene with are two children from 8th-11th August, it's was such a lovely, welcoming place to stay. The room was lovely and clean and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The Breakfast choices were fantastic and there was something for everyone. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Perfect location for the beach and amenities. We would highly recommend and definitely be booking again.

First time staying at the Ivydene Very welcoming reception upon arrival Easy check in Very spacious, clean and fresh room Breakfast was the best I have had for a long time Only gripe would be we prefer a firmer matress but you can't have everything in life 😂 Will definitely book again as we are always in skegvegas

It was just amazing. Melina is the perfect host. Very friendly. Food amazing. Very covid safe, so felt really comfortable there. Bedroom lovely, not too big, ample room for both of us. Close to main areas, but enjoyed the walking that we did. Didn't use the car at all as we were so close to everything. Thoroughly recommend the Ivydene

Lovely service and really friendly owner, was able to be moved, which we didnt expect as was on crutches. Lovely clean and comfortable room, really nice breakfast and everything you need for a stay that you would expect from a hotel.

My companions had previously recommended it, so I stayed here for a quick trip to smugness. A fantastic location that is close to the railway station. The city's center is on a short walk from this location. The breakfast we tasted was wonderful, and we only reserved a room since none of us ate too early. Because our room was on the ground floor, we were relieved to notice a ceiling fan because we were staying at the height of the heatwave, but the room was warm anyway and tastefully furnished, spotless. We had a tray of coffee, teabags, and sugar, along with a kettle for each of our individual necessities. Everything we requested was provided, and the hostess was amazing. I suggest a very kind place to stay.

This is unquestionably not a hotel, but it was a good deal for the money we spent. I stayed one night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The curtains were thin, letting the light out. The en suite bathroom was very small and small and the shower lukewarm only a tiny trickle. We were asked to suggest what we would like for breakfast, and they provided options for toast, tea, and coffee. The full english plate was decent. Not the best sausages in the world, but I liked them.

Kitty and Claire, a mother and daughter, go above and beyond for us. Very pleasant and the atmosphere is cozy. They quickly took care of us. We were able to order evening meals. We were only there from Monday to Friday.

Very clean and nicely decorated but our attic room was very small and restricted by the sloping ceiling. The breakfast was good and we found the place very good value for the price we paid. The location is perfect for access to beach and amenities.

This is a really good little b&b, the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room we was put in was a little small but it wasn't uncomfortable. Parking was a little sparse with only 4 spaces but there is car parks only a few minutes walk away. The center of skegness is just a short walk away. The facilities at the ivydene are excellent the breakfast was really good with the option to upgrade to a large for just £1.50 we were only waiting a couple of minutes before it was on the table, the owner does this all on her own, she is such a lovely lady, thank you very much for a lovely weekend. We will certainly consider staying there again when we next visit.
